Aiken Semones-5’6 SG (The Village School)
Semones has been key to The Village School’s continued success. not just winning TAPPS 6A last season but being in the mix of the top teams in Texas, all classes at that. She has been shooting the 3 since the third grade yet her range and accuracy continued to make jumps, so did she as she shoots the three-ball jumper but her “catch and shoot” with consistency has been huge
Gracelynn Alvarez Gracelynn Alvarez 5'9" | SG Heights | 2021 State TX
Alvarez has unlimited range, meaning be aware when she crosses that midcourt stripe and I’m not fabricating. She creates her shot and shoots it with confidence and her ballhandling as well as creating her shot enables her to not only get it off whenever she wants against whoever is holding her, she can change the momentum just like that
Evie Goetz Evie Goetz 5'11" | SF Denton Guyer | 2021 State TX
Goetz has hit so many fadeaway three pointers at the buzzer in clutch situations, all of them are just scrambling my brain right now yet she can also drop it in transition, she can create off the dribble and drop it and she can come around a pick and elevate as the nets continue to pop but speaking of elevating, she doesn’t really need picks because she’s long and athletic which creates problems
Kaley Perkins Kaley Perkins 6'0" | SG Langham Creek | 2021 State TX
Perkins is a big guard that can shoot the long ball, a coaches dream, a defenders nightmare to guard but her form stays the same, her follow-thru is fluid and she shoots it with poise as well as effortlessly without cracking a smile and if the game is on the line, you know where it’s going because she’s been clutch since middle school which has me wondering why I wasn’t taking advantage of The Gram back then

Breanna Davis Breanna Davis 5'9" | PG Red Oak | 2022 State TX
Davis got that #D1Lock tag when I first saw hear sixth-grader exploding off the dribble after a rebound and pulling up shooting the three, yeah I was shaking my head because I knew what was coming and as she added strength, got even faster and maneuvered better with the ball, this opened her long-range arsenal up even more and watching her set the defender up and just soar to let it go from deep is something to see
Kylie Minter Kylie Minter 5'5" | SG Clear Springs | 2022 State TX
Minter is a blue-collar scorer, you just can’t teach what she brings to the table because she finds ways to score and her zig-zagging in traffic to get to her various spots to drop the long ball is something else yet she can also launch it while in the half-court set as well as create off the dribble while being defended but either way, it’s Kylie for three
Kenna Gibson Kenna Gibson 5'5" | CG Clear Springs | 2022 State TX
Gibson is so heady and strategic when setting defenders up because she will attack a few times before going all out but whatever works, she sticks with first, and then she lowers the boom. She has NBA range, she’s confident, she wants the ball down the stretch, she delivers when needed and she understands how to create and shoot it not only quickly but quite accurately

Madison Hurta-5’6 CG (San Marcos Homeschool)
Hurta impressed me at my All Eyez On Me Camp, it’s an Individual Showcase that allows individuals to showcase their skills, and did she ever. I called her a gamer that relishes pressure and let me add she has just been on a tear with her “catch and shoot” from distance but with her mindset, it will only get better
