After missing the Watchung-based team’s first nine games and sitting out a month due to transfer rules, McNulty came on and didn’t miss a beat. She finished with 13 points in her first game back to action in a victory over Hudson Catholic last January. She scored in double figures in her first six games back, including a 22-point and 10-steal performance in a tight three-point loss to state power St. Rose.
Mount St. Mary made the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA South Jersey, Non-Public A tournament before bowing out to St. John Vianney.
McNulty was second on the team in 3-pointers with 37, and she was third on the team in points despite missing the first month of the season. She averaged 12.5 points per game for MSM last season.
McNulty finished in double figures in 16 of 19 games. She is a guard who is active on both ends. The senior can kick it out to teammates, drive to the basket and she is comfortable knocking down contested shots. She is a smart guard who can intercept passes on defense, and she is good at finishing in transition.
McNulty will look to close out her high school career on a high note once the 2021 season tips off later this month.
