Brittney Anderson (Power)
Anderson attacks the rim strongly, she defends baseline to baseline, rebounds on both ends of the court, dives for loose balls, and plays the passing lane but she also creates her shot under pressure and just goes hard on both ends. Her jumper is smooth, the release is quick and she knocks the mid to long-range down with ease
Ambrosia Cole (Pro Skills 2026 National)
Cole has the right initials because heat doesn’t bother AC so let me start with she’s fast, with the ball, and under control but here’s something else I liked, she understands how to create contact when she attacks, that’s huge at this stage, well so were her spin moves which even had me dizzy watching
Sadie Franklin (OK Lady Lions 8th Grade)
Franklin was solid when I caught her at the #WinterJam and nothing has changed in the Texas heat. Yeah it had been snowing on my visit to Oklahoma when I caught her yet she was on fire with some big shots, she did again and loved the pressure situations, but she also showed she can mix it up on the offensive end
Amaya Garcia (Lady Jets Adidas 2026)
Garcia was one of the show stoppers at the #NextUp50 I cohosted and this time around, I had a different look which I love to see, She handles the ball well under pressure and sees the floor, her defense, on ball, was definitely impressive as well as her rebounding but she showed she could still knock that mid to long-range down and finish after contact
Selena Carasco (Lady Jets Adidas 2026)
Carasco has always been smooth and under control, played within herself yet showed she could take over when needed. Now I’m seeing her game has evolved, even more, she finds ways to contribute that may not show up on score or even stat sheet yet taking defenders off the dribble or creating the midrange jumper was effective
Gianna Jordan (Team Jordan)
Jordan falls into the #sizedontmatter because at 5’2, she can definitely play, and watching her run a team, control the tempo and handle the pressure brought at her by older and stronger girls, it’s irrelevant because she’s poised, that word right there means a lot, so does her handling the ball and seeing the floor
Natalia Jordan (Team Jordan)
Jordan is athletic, has long arms, and can take defenders with either hand yet she can also create her shot, the mid to long-range are among her tools, yet she also thinks the game a reads plays before they happen, that’s a gift yet I love her upside because she understands something very important, how to get hers in the flow
