Christy Brennan Christy Brennan 5'5" | PG Hopatcong | 2022 State NJ , Hopatcong, Jr. – Brennan was tremendous at the foul line last year for Hopatcong, finishing second in the state with 189 free throws. She made 12 free throws against Wallkill Valley, 11 against Vernon, 13 against Kittatinny, 10 against Pequannock, 11 against South Hunterdon, 12 against Butler and 11 against Mount Olive. Brennan averaged 20.7 points per game for Hopatcong last season.
Casey Sullivan, Demarest, Jr. – Sullivan was third in the state last year with 172 free throws. In a season where she averaged 18.2 points per game, Sullivan was able to get to the foul line quite a bit. She made 11 free throws against Lakeland, and 20 of her 36 points against Bergenfield came at the line. Sullivan made 12 free throws apiece against Old Tappan and Teaneck, 10 against Lakeland and 14 against Nutley.
Alexis Davis Alexis Davis 6'0" | SF Woodbury | 2023 State NJ , Glassboro, So. – Davis finished with 133 made free throws, which was ninth in the state last year. As a freshman, she averaged 21.2 points per game. She got to the foul line a good amount with her ability to do damage in the inside on the glass and on offense. She made 11 free throws against Penns Grove, nine against Clearview and Oakcrest and eight apiece against Pitman, Schalick and Gloucester.
Stephanie Van Note, Sayreville, Sr. – Van Note finished with 121 made free throws in her junior season at Sayreville. She drove the floor and used defense to create offense. She had two double-digit free throw performances to close out the season (11 against Trenton and 10 against Piscataway). Van Note also made nine free throws apiece in wins over South Plainfield and Edison.
Colleen McQuillen Colleen McQuillen 5'10" | SG Cresskill | 2021 State NJ , Cresskill, Sr. – McQuillen was a scoring machine as she became Cresskill’s all-time leading scorer as a junior. She made 120 free throws on the way to a remarkable 737 points on the year. Her top performance came in a 41-point game against Paramus Catholic where 13 of her 41 came at the stripe.
Destiny Adams Destiny Adams 6'3" | SF Manchester | 2021 State #26 Nation NJ , Manchester Township: Adams is one of the top players in New Jersey. A UNC commit, she knew how to score and rebound the ball, as well as get to the foul line. Like McQuillen, she made 120 free throws. Adams had 11 of her 19 points come at the line in a double-double performance of 19 points and 13 rebounds against Donovan Catholic. She had nine points off free throws in a 23-point effort against Middletown South. Adams made seven free throws against Lacey, Trenton Catholic and St. John Vianney.
