Washington’s top 2021 prospect Talia von Oelhoffen Talia von Oelhoffen 5'11" | SG Chiawana | 2021 State #22 Nation WA has joined the trend making the executive decision to join Oregon State University where she signed during the early signing period.
Top 50 nationally ranked players including von Oelhoffen, Olivia Miles (New Jersey) who has joined Notre Dame and Kendall Coley (Minnesota) who joined Nebraska are some of the biggest names to recently join their respective programs. This is essentially a head start with school and basketball as all players will receive an extra year of eligibility in the 2021-2022 regardless of them joining a year early. So next season these current freshman will be freshman once again.
Talia von Oelhoffen Talia von Oelhoffen 5'11" | SG Chiawana | 2021 State #22 Nation WA is on campus in Corvallis, Oregon and was greeted with smiles and open arms as seen on Oregon State’s social media when she walked into practice for the first time. She has yet to suit up for a game, but could provide another scoring punch for the 3-4 Beavers who have dealt with a lot of postponed games and rocky start for their high expectations. The 5’11 scoring guard is a true three level scorer and loves to make plays with the ball in her hands, but she could also provide some great catch and shoot scoring opportunities, dependent on how Coach Scott Rueck and staff plans to utilize her diverse offensive skillset.
