Abriel Thrash | Arborbrook Christian | SF
Thrash seems to do a little bit of everything for her teams whether she is handling the ball, calling the plays, or finding herself on the block ready for an entry pass. She has great vision on the court, and that can be seen on both ends. She finds her open teammates by penetrating the paint and dishing the ball, or she moves without the ball to the open areas waiting for her pass. She can shoot anywhere on the court, especially from behind the arc. She does a great job anticipating passes on defense grabbing steals to push up the court in the other direction.
Monique Cepeda | Arborbrook Christian | SF
Cepeda seems to be in the right spot on the court at the right time. She seals off opponents to grab rebounds, and she uses these offensive boards to get second chance points. She moves around on offense helping to continue the plays for her teams, and she can certainly shoot it no matter where she is on the court. She has a great ability of knowing where she is on the court at all times to know exactly how she needs to move her body to get her shot up quickly. She runs the floor well making sure she is available for fast break opportunities.
Ruby Williams Ruby Williams 6'0" | SF Cuthbertson | 2022 State NC | Cuthbertson | SF
Williams actually runs the point guard position for her high school team most of the time, and she does so effectively setting up plays to score points. She is a scorer herself, too, as she knows how to get to the basket. She uses her height to find the gaps in the defense, grab rebounds over opponents, and shoot over her defenders. Her length is effective when it comes to causing problems on defense as she is consistently grabbing steals and deflecting the ball making it difficult for other teams to get any kind of offense going.
Caroline Cady Caroline Cady 6'1" | PF Carmel Christian | 2022 NC | Carmel Christian | SF
Cady’s footwork and ball handling are definitely effective for her working in the post, and that translates well to being effective on the perimeter. She can handle the ball pushing it up the court, and she can show off her shot from behind the arc. She does a great job following shots going up for rebounds or blocking shots. She anticipates passes, too, deflecting the ball away from her opponents when playing defense.
