Genevieve Decker Genevieve Decker 5'10" | SF Anchor Bay | 2021 State MI (2021, SF, Anchor Bay)
If you saw Decker play at all over the course of grassroots season, you know exactly what I’m talking about. She was flat out dominant off the wing. So much so, that she probably established herself as an elite wing in the state. I can’t wait to watch Decker absolutely control many high school games.
Ciara Hardy Ciara Hardy 5'10" | CG Romulus | 2021 State MI (2021, CG, Romulus)
Last year, Hardy did a great job at defining her game and her strengths. This season, I think she’ll build upon those and continue her improvement. She a strong combo guard that can play on or off the ball. Hardy is set to have an excellent senior season.
Ndidiamaka Ndukwe Ndidiamaka Ndukwe 5'10" | SF Summit Academy | 2021 State MI (2021, SF, Summit Academy)
Ndukwe is a tough physical matchup. There aren’t many opponents that can match her toughness and strength on the wing. She is a creative and physical scorer when she gets the ball in the lane. Ndukwe was very impressive at the Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Top 250, and I expect that to continue this season.
Emaia O’Brien Emaia O’Brien 5'7" | PG Chandler Park | 2021 State MI (2021, PG, Chandler Park)
I know, O’Brien has always been good. But trust me, she’s going to show everyone a little something this season. She has the ability to absolutely take over games on the offensive end, even against top competition and high level players. O’Brien continued to get better since last season and has put her name near the top of the prospect rankings.
Madisyn Tillman Madisyn Tillman 6'3" | C East Kentwood | 2021 State MI (2021, C, East Kentwood)
Tillman has always had a ton of talent and one of the biggest upsides of any post prospect in Michigan. She has put it all together and has looked elite in doing so. This summer, Tillman controlled the paint. She moved her opponents at will and owned the glass.
Kayiona Willis Kayiona Willis PG Southfield A&T | 2021 State MI (2021, PG, Southfield A&T)
Willis made a big statement at the Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Top 250. She had a whole new swag and confidence in her game. Willis played aggressive downhill offense. She was comfortable being a lead ball handler and initiating the offense even when surrounded by star players. Willis is poised for a huge senior season.
