They are not only leading their team but also the class of 4A. We are coming down to wire for teams to play in the playoffs, and this group of players are more than capable of helping their team get there.
Let’s take a look at some of the top scorers in 4A!!
Amelia Solt Amelia Solt 5'4" | PG Thompson Valley | 2022 State CO (2022, Thompson Valley)
Solt is a threat in the open floor, and loves to look for her teammates in transition. She had been improving her production on the court every year. She went from scoring 6.6 points per game her freshman year to 20.6 points per game this season. Solt is shooting 62-of-153 (41 percent) from the floor. She scored a season high in points in her last game against Berthoud putting up 28 points shooting 10-of-20 (50 percent) from the field. She is also averaging 4.4 assist, 2.4 steals per game.
Grace Moyers Grace Moyers 5'8" | CG Erie | 2022 CO (2022, Erie)
Moyers is a player that can in a variety of ways, and can shoot the ball behind the arc among the best. She can also create off the dribble, or from the catch. Moyers making a great jump in numbers since her sophomore season with Erie. She went from scoring 14.7 points, to now 20.4 points per game. Moyers scored her season high in points against Silver Creek with 33 points on 14-of-22 (64 percent) from the floor. She is on track to score 1,000 points by her senior season.
Gabriela Caballero Gabriela Caballero 5'6" | CG Battle Mountain | 2021 State CO (2021, Battle Mountain)
Caballero a dual sport-athlete leading her team to a 7-3 record overall, and 6-2 in conference. Caballero is averaging 19.4 points per game on 67-of-151 (44 percent) from the field. A player that could not be stop against Summitt scoring 41 points,one of the highest in Class of 4A. She shows that she has relentless effort when she is on the floor, and will do what it takes to help her team win games. She is also averaging 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game.
Jayda Maves Jayda Maves 5'8" | SG Green Mountain | 2023 State CO (2023, Green Mountain)
On a team that is very talented with a 14-0 overall season. Green mountain can score the ball at will averaging 71.2 points per game. Maves is the leading scorer this season as a sophomore. She is averaging 18.5 points per game on 105-of-179 (59 percent) from the floor. She also shows that she can knock down shots from deep to stretch teams out. Maves is shooting 46 percent from the 3 point line with 81 attempts. The ceiling is high for Maves as she looks to help her team advance in the playoffs.
Aryannah McClain Aryannah McClain 5'3" | SG Aurora Central | 2021 State CO (2021, Aurora Central)
McClain is a lefty that can push the tempo well for her team. She shows that she can attack the basket, using a soft touch around the rim. She is averaging 17.9 points per game in her last year with Aurora Central. McClain also does a good job getting her hands on the ball creating extra possessions. She put up a season high in points scoring 28 points against Fort Lupton.
