At the Utah HoopSource Winter Final Run, we were shown talent from Marathon Elite and NW Select as familiar faces continued to show their skills and new faces popped up as well. [player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] had one of the biggest games of the weekend with a huge offensive output as Laini Dahlin showed her defensive and offensive versatility. [player_tooltip player_id="158487" first="Toni" last="Coleman"] was able to show her top end speed as a defender and ball handler. Jazzy Davidson put together some of the most tremendous games of the weekend whereas [player_tooltip player_id="158545" first="Rhyan" last="Mogel"] was a constant cog on both ends of the floor for NW Select. [player_tooltip player_id="207820" first="Mia" last="Skoro"] produced when it most mattered - in their bracket final with NW Magic. [player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] 2021 5’9" SG Marathon Elite/South Medford HS - Chamberlain poured in 40 points versus Academy as an ode to her ability to score from all over the floor, particularly from deep. The South Medford guard is an aggressive scorer who knows how to get a bucket, whether it is letting it go from deep or establishing a presence down-low and scoring around the block. Laini Dahlin 2021 5’10" SF Marathon Elite/South Medford HS - Laini was a difference maker for Marathon Elite, as she knows how to utilize her size and length to her advantage out on the floor. She is a tremendous defender who pesters her opposition with her motor and wingspan. Dahlin has significant range on her shot and shows fluidity in getting to the basket and finishing. [player_tooltip player_id="158487" first="Toni" last="Coleman"] 2021 5’4" PG Marathon Elite/South Medford HS - The speedster from South Medford continued to rampage defensively for Marathon Elite, as she racked up 3 points and 14 steals versus Academy as a portrayal of her ability to defend with persistence and edge. She has a quick first step that she uses to blow by defenders and finishes at the rim with suave and style. Jazzy Davidson 2025 6’1" SF NW Select - the 8th grader continued to display her tremendous talents as she is a match-up nightmare for her opponents - her length displays a problem overall as it allows her to run in transition, spot up from three, and make some skilled shots around the paint. Her 27 point, 6 rebound, 3 assist, 2 block total versus Marathon was very telling. [player_tooltip player_id="158545" first="Rhyan" last="Mogel"] 2023 5’10" SF NW Select/Clackamas HS - Mogel is a high motor guard who not only plays hard but has a big aptitude for making plays appear out of thin air. She recently has added to her offensive arsenal and in addition to making tough shots in the paint can now make mid-range jumpers with great consistency. 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals versus Marathon. [player_tooltip player_id="207820" first="Mia" last="Skoro"] 2021 5’8" SG NW Select/La Salle HS - Skoro is as steady as a guard come, as she displays extremely calm demeanors even during the most testing situations. She defends, facilitates, and scores and knows how to initiate each of these maneuvers. Skoro came up huge when NW Select needed it most against NW Magic, putting together a tremendous 12 point, 5 rebound, 2 assist game.
