Below is a list of players who had impressive performances during the state tournament run. Each one of these players competed in the Division 4 Tournament in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Desiree Kleiman Desiree Kleiman 6'0" | SF Mishicot | 2021 State WI
Mishicot | Senior
The senior was so impressive on the glass during her team’s victory over Fall Creek. She grabbed 9 rebounds to lead her team and scored 15 points as well. In the Championship Game against Mineral Point, Kleiman finished with 16 points and dished out 9 rebounds.
Blair Watters
Mineral Point | Junior
Watters led her team in scoring and to the Championship game. She scored 20 points in the 66-30 victory over Bangor. She finished with 5 points in the loss to Misichot.
Ella Chambers
Mineral Point | Junior
The point guard had a very impressive performance against Mishicot in the championship game. She finished with 20 points and grabbed 4 steals.
Kylie Schmidt Kylie Schmidt 6'0" | SF Mishicot | 2021 State WI
Mishicot | Senior
The senior scored 11 points in her team’s 55-30 victory over Fall Creek. She also grabbed 7 rebounds for her team as well. She had an incredible performance in the championship game against Mineral Point. She finished with 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Taylor Jacobson Taylor Jacobson 5'9" | CG Monroe | 2023 State WI
Bangor | Junior
The junior played a lot of minutes as her team competed against a very talented Mineral Point team. Jacobson finished with 6 points in the loss. She averaged 7 points this season to help her team to a tournament run.
Katie Kent
Fall Creek | Junior
The point guard led her team all season long and was able to maintain some consistency in the semi-final game against a very talented Mishicot team. She stayed controlled and balanced on the floor- she finished with 10 points in the loss.
Gianna Vollrath
Fall Creek | Junior
The post player is someone to keep an eye on as she has a spectacular performance in the semi-final as her team lost to Mishicot. Vollrath earned a double-double as she finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
