Continuing out look from standouts from last weekend’s action in Idaho we take a glance from eclectic talent from all over the board. [player_tooltip player_id="211120" first="Olivia" last="Poulvaati"] is a soccer stand-out from Tualatin which can be seen through her ability to pass the ball from great lengths of the court. [player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] is a tremendous combo guard who plays at exceptional speeds, matched by nobody else out on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="158488" first="Liv" last="Knapp"] is a specialty scorer who has a great feel and change of speed when the ball is in her hands. [player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158487" first="Toni" last="Coleman"] are the dynamic duo for South Medford who bring offensive and defensive edge to their club. Ava Aris is one of the most improved fro NW Select White who continues to show her development int the paint. [player_tooltip player_id="211120" first="Olivia" last="Poulvaati"] 2023 6’0" PF NW Select White - continued to demonstrate her sixth sense for passing the basketball along with her elite rebounding abilities. Knows how to pick up the tempo and does it with keen awareness. Adept passer from top of the key as well as within the key. Great scorer with great hands and footwork. Continuing to show signs of development all over the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] 2022 5’6" SG NW Select Black - the dynamic guard had spouts of greatness as she showed the ability to play downhill. This phenomena starts from the defensive end as she grabs rebounds and starts the great in her relentless pursuit towards the other end. Can hit it from deep no problem and gets to the basket with great efficiency. She is a confident player who plays with flair and style. [player_tooltip player_id="158488" first="Liv" last="Knapp"] 2021 5’6" SG Oregon Triple - the guard is a keen scorer who does it in a read and react style. She is bouncy off the catch as she uses her hips and legs to read the defender and get to to bite. She is great from the mid-range level all the way up to the three-point line. Uses picks and rolls to perfection but can also set up others and knows how to dish it off with perfect timing. [player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] 2021 5’9" SG South Medford - the savvy three-level scorer had another weekend of scoring aptitude. She is incredibly crafty around the rim and knows how to use the baseline to her advantage. Physical in the paint with a strong frame, she is of the big guard mold. Knows when and where to let it go from deep as she displays great range at that level. [player_tooltip player_id="158487" first="Toni" last="Coleman"] 2021 5’5" PG South Medford - Coleman’s ability all begins on the defensive end, where she constantly hounds her opposition and is a one person machine on the defensive end. Offensively, she shows downhill capabilities and strength finishing at the rim. Her trademark offensive move is her drive, which often times ends in an and-one. Ava Aris 2022 5’10" SF NW Select White - Aris showed quite a bit of offensive staccato from when we last saw her. She showed great consistency scoring in the post as she is both aggressive and fluid. Good rebounder from the jump and a defender who uses hustle and determination to get the job done in the paint.
