Layla Wall-Gibson | PSB Elite 2022
Wall-Gibson is very dynamic with the ball weaving in and out of her opponents with ease. She finds herself near the basket in no time, and she is a true floor general directing her teammates where to go. She can take the ball all the way to the hoop or pull up for her shot in transition. She even crashes the boards to grab rebounds.
Jordann Nelson | PSB Elite 2022
Nelson brings the hustle that you want to see from everyone getting back on defense to stop a fast break and diving on top of loose balls to gain possession for her team. She can push the ball up the court with speed making sure her own team can convert on fast breaks. Her speed helps to make it even easier for her to finish at the rim.
Amore’ Kirkland Amore’ Kirkland 5'5" | CG Seventy First High | 2022 | Carolina Flames 11th Rahn
Kirkland (pictured above) showed off her shot from downtown, and she waited for the perfect time when her opponent could not block her shot. She does well bringing the ball up the court and waiting for the play to develop. She stays in the gaps on defense when she does not have the ball making sure she is always an asset on the court.
Samantha Davis | Team Carolina Larios
Davis can knock down three point shots, and she gets open by constantly moving around to find the open areas. She follows shots to grab rebounds, too, making sure her opponents don’t have second chance opportunities. She runs the floor well making herself available for some fast break points.
Zarriah White | Carolina Lady Fire
White does a great job finding the ball on all areas of the court. She follows shots to grab rebounds, and she anticipates passes going after steals to gain possession. She even knows how to smack it out of an opponent’s hands. She can certainly score at all three levels herself, or find her open teammates with a nice dish.
Stevee Mcgee | Team Carolina Larios
Mcgee can knock down some shots from all over the court, and she doesn’t hesitate to do so in the face of her opponents. She is a tenacious defender keeping her opponent in front of her and making them move to trap areas for her team. She knows how to jump into passing lanes, and she embraces contact when making a fast breaks.
