Jada Brigman Jada Brigman 5'9" | SF Olympic | 2022 State NC | Olympic | G
Brigman has certainly impressed me so far this spring with her ability to do a little bit of everything on the court. She can handle the ball quickly up the court, and she shows no fear when it comes to posting up on the block for some points. It even seems like she thrives on contact being aggressive in her moves in the paint. She sees the floor well finding open teammates, and she moves to the open areas of the court making sure she can score on any level.
Aly Wadkovsky Aly Wadkovsky 6'3" | C Lake Norman | 2022 State NC | Lake Norman | C
Wadkovsky has her eyes set on playing basketball at Elon University in the near future, but she certainly isn’t finished with her high school career. She has great height and length for a basketball player, and she knows exactly how to make her presence known in the paint. She keeps her head on a swivel on defense communicating with her teammates about where they should go to be effective. She can certainly move her defenders where she wants in order to score from the block. Opponents certainly have trouble scoring against this shot blocking machine, and they struggle with grabbing rebounds as well.
Faith Isenhour Faith Isenhour 5'11" | SF Bunker Hill | 2022 NC | Bunker Hill | SF
Isenhour plays with the kind of heart you want to see in most players as she shows no fear going against any kind of contact or being assigned to guard even the best player on the other team. She uses her length to block shots from all areas of the court as she can close out any space. On offense, she knows how to create separation from her opponents to show off her shot, and she can make it all the way to the basket for two points.
Emily Hege Emily Hege CG North Davidson | 2022 State NC | North Davidson | CG
Hege has done a great job enhancing her ball skills. She knows exactly what moves to use with the ball to create separation between her and her opponents. She can show these moves off to put up her shot or use them to get a pass by her defenders. Even without the ball, she is constantly moving to the open areas of the court showing off her vision of the court. Her hands are constantly causing problems on defense knocking the ball away from her opponents, and she grabs these steals to score in transition.
Riley Corcoran Riley Corcoran 5'9" | CG Chapel Hill | 2022 NC | Chapel Hill | G
Corcoran (pictured above) first stood out to me with her defense, but she is a player who can handle her business on both ends of the court. She certainly grabs many steals each time she plays making sure to turn these into points pushing it up the court herself or making smart passes up to her teammates. Her ability to thread the needle with some passes, especially while running full speed is impressive. She does not shy away from going up against contact when driving the ball herself.
