Mariah Barrie Mariah Barrie 5'9" | CG Central Cabarrus | 2022 NC (Central Cabarrus, G) knows how to fight for loose balls, and she is aware of where she is on the court to be able to put up the shot. She knows how to take the ball from coast to coast scoring on fast breaks. She has a wide range of moves including putting defenders on a spin cycle on her way to the basket. She scored three points the old fashioned way battling through contact, and this was after she had grabbed a rebound to take to the other end of the court.
Hudson Rixham Hudson Rixham 6'0" | SF Charlotte Country Day | 2022 NC (Charlotte Country Day, SF, pictured above) uses her length to constantly block passes and shots. She was constantly knocking the ball away from her opponents grabbing steals to take the other direction for some points. She wasn’t just a threat in the paint as she was showing off her shot from behind the three point line, too. She is persistent when crashing the boards and going after rebounds.
Maya Chocano (Chestnut Park, SF) stands at 6 feet tall and has the ball handling skills of a point guard making her lethal all over the court. She made her way to the basket or stepped back to show off her jump shot. She is a tough defender, too, grabbing the ball right out of her opponents hands or knocking it away for the steal. She even had a one man press where she herself stopped multiple opponents from getting a pass by her.
Abi Svenson Abi Svenson 5'9" | SG Carolina Christian | 2021 NC (Chestnut Park, G) sees the floor well pushing the ball up the court finding her open teammates running full speed. She is patient when handling the ball, and she knows when to make her moves or passes to her teammates. She is a very underrated shooter showing off consistency behind the three point line, and she knows exactly when to show off her shot. She moves well without the ball, too, finding ways to shift her opponents on defense.
