This is another hooper that is probably in my top five most underrated players in the state of Iowa. Her overall offensive game will make her a lethal player as she goes throughout her career. She can score at all three levels and can flat out pass the ball. The basketball knowledge and high IQ this kid displays on the court on all cylinders makes her an excellent overall player. Players that grab my attention right from the get go are kids that have a special eye for the entire court. What I mean by that is; they just have this knack, instinct, and savvy to them that isn’t difficult to see. One of the first things I look for when I watch a person play is their court sense, awareness, and feel for the game. For example, “how do they play the game, how do they spread out the floor, what kinds of ways can they get into the seams to dish off a nice pass to a fellow teammate, etc. A lot of this skill comes from a natural, innate born, God-gifted talent that is from within. This was quickly identified when I watched Reagan play. I know she will be increasing her stock this summer, and I think she has the ability to compete at a DI school after she graduates next May. It is not too late for her to check out several DI programs. Most of them already have their 2022 classes set, however, there are many that don’t; and would love to pick up a kid like this.

Kennedy Kelly Kennedy Kelly 5'4" | PG West Hancock | 2022 State IA , 5’4, G, West Hancock, 2022
This is an ecstatic combo (1,2) guard that has the full package. Her greatest asset is her ability to shoot the 3 ball. She has a great stroke and has the ability to let them fly all game long. An up-tempo player that thrives in the transition game; she can finish on her own on the break, or can make some nifty passes to teammates. A tremendous ball handler; a lot can happen on the offensive end with having this skill in terms of her getting to the rim, drawing defenders to her and dishing to fellow teammates, knocking down the mid-range jumper, etc. Her athletic ability helps her utilize her quick hands and feet to rack up the steals and get into passing lanes. What she lacks in size at 5’4, she makes up for it with talent and athleticism. The energy she brings to the table is evident, and I see a lot of passion in her. She will continue to ball out this summer, and I know good things are in store for her.

Tori is a fantastic wing that I see as a shooting guard at the collegiate level. I am pleased with the way she plays the game and how versatile she is. She can shoot the 3 ball, drive to the basket, pull up for the jump shot, and plays solid defense. Her mid-range jumper is off the charts; as she can stop on a dime and hit that shot time after time. She has great range on her 3-point shot, and has good form. She has good length as she can get many rebounds and blocks. She shoots at a high percentage at the rim and puts herself in places to tally up the buckets. Her movement without the ball on the offensive end will make her a coach’s dream. Continued wishes of success as she goes throughout the summer circuit and caps off a great high school career.

Aleah Hermansen Aleah Hermansen 5'8" | SF Audubon | 2022 State IA , 5’8, G, Audubon, 2022
Performs to the best of her ability and stands out everytime she steps out on the court. This right here is a kid that will do whatever it takes to win and put the ball in the net. I absolutely love her aggressive mentality to take the rock full court and turn the game into a track meet with a talented handle, change of pace, and outstanding finishing ability with either hand. This lefty combo (1,2) guard is a shifty player who can create an alarming amount of havoc for defenses. She can shoot the 3 and jumper off the dribble and from a catch and shoot stance, can drive to the basket with terrific finishing abilities, and is a cheetah in the open floor racing from one end to the other slicing, dicing, and maneuvering between defenses finding a way to get the two or the And 1. I see great strides and upside in this kid.

Mia Miller Mia Miller 5'5" | PG Bondurant-Farrar | 2022 State IA , 5’5, G, Bondurant-Farrar, 2022
I am insanely impressed with the amount of talent I see out of these kids that I would call, “hidden gems and diamonds in the rough.” I believe each of them have top-notch talent that is very visible in highlight videos and full games. Mia is being added to this mix as a product of high skill, talent, ability, and basketball IQ. This is a true point guard right here who can make her teammates look good in an instant with some unbelievable passes. She is best on the run in transition topping off some “right in hands” dimes to fellow teammates. Her knowledge of spacing and alignment makes her an elite point guard. She accomplished quite the honor this recent high school season breaking the Bondurant-Farrar school assist record with 14 in one game. This shows her unselfishness to make the game more lively and make it a fun one to watch. She steps aside from her playmaking ability to behind the 3-point arc displaying a fluid, pure shot. She can also get to the rim and finish in the lane amongst taller defenders; defining her athleticism, finishing skills, and talent. At 5’5, there is some size issues there; however, it is made up for with talent and ability. I’m sure she will keep making a name for herself and showing people what she can do this summer and next season as a miraculous point guard.
