STRENGTHS OF HER GAME
– Can score in bunches: Clark can put points on the board in a flash. She’s moving in on 1000 points in her high school career.
– Getting to the basket and finishing: She’s a tough finisher in traffic.
– High basketball IQ
– The ability to guard multiple positions: She’s very versatile and a huge asset when it comes to matching up defensively.
– Length and athleticism
– True 2 way player: It’s a good thing that Clark can log a lot of minutes because it’s tough to take off the floor. She’s a high plus player on both ends.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
– Vocal leader: Clark quietly gets the job done, but her teammates look up to her and are willing to follow her. Being more vocal could enhance her leadership abilities.
– Play with more of a chip on her shoulder: She’s a terrific person and a humble player, but that extra chip on her shoulder could lift her game.
ULTIMATE BASKETBALL GOALS
Clark wants to play college basketball. Simple as that. Her goals are clear cut and focused, and she looks to be on track.
WHAT IS SHE LOOKING FOR FROM A SCHOOL/PROGRAM AT THE NEXT LEVEL?
Clark is all about finding the right fit and isn’t so concerned with playing at a certain level. She wants to somewhere that she feels like she can continue to grow her game and become a top player in the conference. Clark is looking for a school that feels like home. It’s very important to her that she can get a degree that sets her up for a very successful life after basketball.
RECRUITMENT
Clark feels like she can contribute immediately and will work hard to make that happen. I believe she’s on target and that a college coach could be getting an immediate contributor. This coming July with the Michigan Cagers will be very big for Clark and coaches will want to pay close attention. She’s currently being recruited by a few NAIA schools and a couple JUCO programs. NAIA programs should get in the loop ASAP, as I believe that she’d be a solid addition at that level.
