With these player you can see they have put in the time and effort to become great shooters. There is so much more work to be done but here are a few players who have put themselves in a great position to be able to shoot the basketball.
Hailey Carrol
Carrol is a 5’3 Junior Guard from Central Kitsap High school, who averaged 10 points per game and had multiple games knocking down 4 3’s. Carrol is not only a knock down shooter but a great defender, she had a season high of 7 steals. When she is not hitting shots she will still play tough defense and do other things to help her team. She is a tough competitor and hustles every play and her quick release makes her tough to defend. With a great off season Carrol will have a really strong senior season.
Laila Greene Laila Greene 5'5" | PG Neah Bay | 2021 State WA https://www.hudl.com/profile/10561574/Laila-Greene
Greene is a 5’7 Senior guard Neah Bay Highschool who averaged 15.8 points per game. Greene became when of the better shooters this season shooting 55% from the 3 points line and with a season high of 7 of 8 from 3. She also had a great season defending having multiple games with 5 steals. Green lead her team to a undefeated season as a leader on both ends of the court. Playing the game the right way every play Green became a player her teammates look to for leadership.
Alexis Willis https://www.hudl.com/profile/14028177/Alexis-Willis
Willis is a 5’4 Junior guard from Spanaway Lake Highschool, who scored 20 points and grabbed 4 rebounds this season. Willis had a season high of 7 3’s and also 10 rebounds proving that she is so much more then a knock down shooter. She also showed off her skills on defense with a season high of 8 steals but also having multiple game with 5 or more. She is tough on both ends of the floor and hustles every play. She has no problem guarding bigger defenders because what she lacks in size she makes up for in speed and quickness. I can’t wait to watch her come out strong her senior year.
Bree Peters https://www.hudl.com/profile/13648269/Bree-Peters
Peters is a 5’9 Sophomore Guard from Toppenish Highschool who, who scored 16 points this season. With a slow start to the season Peters closed out strong, with a season high of 26 points in 28 minutes in her last game of the year. In only her sophomore season she showed why she was out there knocking down big shots and not being afraid to shoot the ball. What impressed me the most was her range she can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court and will knock it down if left open. As her game grows she will be a player to look out for.
