was effective in the low post. She’s a strong inside-out forward that can back down opponents and score with a hook shot through contact. Owens is capable of hitting the three and can take her man off the dribble.
2023 5-10 W Kalisha Phillips – Hiram
The athleticism and length of Kalisha Phillips jumped out at me. She holds value defensively as a player that can help guard multiple positions. Phillips does a nice job rebounding and serves as a slasher on offense.

started camp on the right foot, attacking the rim with aggressive drives. Her confidence exuded as she shot the three with confidence and did a nice job handling pressure.
2023 5-9 W Holley Turner – Harrison
I like the feel Holley Turner plays with. She’s a good shooter with a quick release. Turner has nice size, able to get to the rim and finish through bumps. Holley has a good first step that can catch defenders off balance. She’s a well-rounded scorer.

has an accurate three-point shot and length on the perimeter. She could serve as a potential 3&D candidate at the next level. I like when Leah plays aggressive and hunts her offense off the dribble. She’s a quality playmaker when getting downhill. Smith is becoming a popular name with D-III programs.
2022 5-10 F Ellia Chance – Whitewater
A player I wasn’t familiar with was Ellia Chance. She caught my eye with her toughness inside. She’s got good hands and didn’t shy away from contact when rebounding and finishing around the rim. Chance has solid offense with her back to the basket. She is a sneaky good player that is starting to pop up on small school radars. I’d like to see more.
