There are plenty of very talented prospects that are putting their skills on display for college coaches. There’ve been some really nice performances by instate players this week. Let’s take a look at some of them.
Saige Edmondson (2025, F, Michigan Storm Elite 2025)
Edmondson is turning heads as an incoming freshman. With stat lines like her 14 point and 15 rebound game, people will take notice quickly. Edmondson is a player to keep your eyes on for the rest of the month.
Izzy Hadley Izzy Hadley PG Clarkston | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, PR1DE 2022, Clarkston)
Hadley has really shown her offensive repertoire at TFN’s Run 4 The Roses. She has shown the ability to be a high level scorer and distributor. Hadley had 16 points in games against Lahaina Girls Basketball and against Team 419. She also led the team in assists against the Atlanta Cagers.
Abbey Kimball Abbey Kimball 5'10" | PG Grand Rapids West Catholic | 2022 State #63 Nation MI (2022, PG, MBA Brown, Grand Rapids West Catholic)
There’s a reason that Kimball has become a top notch prospect on a national scale, and we’re seeing just that. Not only can she run an offense from the point, but she is an elite shooter from beyond the arc. In her teams first GUAA circuit game, she went an astounding 10-10 from behind the arc.
Emma Riley Emma Riley 5'7" | PG Fowler | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, Michigan’s Finest 2023, Fowler)
Riley is a tremendously talented guard and she continues to prove it during grassroots season. She had an impressive 16 point performance in a win over the Riverside Hawks at TFN’s Run 4 The Roses. Riley scored smartly and efficiently, all while making sure her teammates were fed the ball in high percentage situations.
Maddie Schuur Maddie Schuur 5'9" | SG Zeeland East | 2022 State MI (2022, SG, MBA Lakeshore, Zeeland East)
Schuur is continuing a terrific grassroots season, where she stood on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit this spring. She’s a top notch scorer at the 2 which she showed this week. Schuur had 15 points, on 5-5 shooting from 3, in a hard fought loss.
