MBCA Small College Showcase: Team No. 1 Evals

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri spent two days in Columbia to watch the action at the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Small College Showcase. In the coming days, we are providing evals of every player who participated in the event. Here is a look at the players who were on Team No. 1.
Myah Coleman 5’9″ STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley: The 2022 combo forward caused matchup problems with her quickness and athleticism in the post, where she had a lot of success. She also hit 3-pointers and drive the ball well.
Alexis Ellison 5’6″ Clark County: A very nice 2022 point guard who impacted play at both ends of the court. She can shoot the 3-pointer, stop and pop from 15 feet and push the ball with pace. She also had several steals with her quick hands.
Nevaeh Strother Nevaeh Strother 5'10" | C Barstow School | 2024 State MO 5’11″ Bastow: A 2024 power forward who provided a physical presence in the lane. She was one of the best shot blockers in the event with her length and aggressiveness on the defensive end. She also posted up strong on the blocks.
Isabella Corrado Isabella Corrado 5'5" | CG Rock Bridge | 2023 State MO 5’6″ Rock Bridge: A 2023 guard who was very solid ball handler who played with a lot of energy and hustle. When left open, she could hit the 3-pointer.
Katie McKinney 5’7″ Otterville: A 2023 guard who has some good offensive skills. She can hit her high-arching 3-pointer, plus she has a nice step back move for the jumper.
Reece Nimmo 5’6″ Warrensburg: A solid 2024 guard who was content to do the little things. She was blocking out on every shot and she kept the ball moving. She didn’t look to shoot much, but she she did, she hit the open 3-pointer.
