The many student-athletes from Tennessee will be ascending to many destinations throughout the country. Kentucky, Indiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, ect., here come the ladies from the volunteer state ready to hoop. This is such an important and exciting time of the year, PGH Tennessee will be in different locations checking out our young ladies who will be making our state proud.
Here are some notable standouts from day 1 throughout the country.
Millie Brown Millie Brown 5'7" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2022 State TN (5’7/PG/ Brentwood Academy/ Team B. Wright/ Class of 2022)– Millie was sensational in her first game at Hoosier Heat. She played the game with poise as she dropped dimes to her teammates while knocking down clutch 3s. This young lady is a hustler, who is a floor general for her club. Millie was strong when taking it to the cup. She was clutch from 3 as well. Look for her to catch some eyes of the coaches this week and moving forward.
Finley Tomlin Finley Tomlin 5'7" | PG Lebanon | 2023 TN (5’6/PG/Lebanon/ Tennessee Pride/ Class of 2023)– Finley Tomlin Finley Tomlin 5'7" | PG Lebanon | 2023 TN is a go-getter who has great court vision. A coach on the floor, she is the trusted lieutenant that her coaches love to have in the game. Whatever needs to get done, she’s got it. She can score it from all three levels, defends well, and knows how to execute plays in difficult situations, which leads to buckets. Fin had a great first day. Look for her to continue on an upwards trajectory.
Naomi Atchley (5’9/SG/Maryville Christian /Team Ambition/ Class of 2023)– Naomi plays the game with a great motor. She displayed her sharpshooting ability knocking down clutch 3s for her club in a match-up against Team Durant at Hoosier Heat. The shooting guard showed a lot of poise as she took calculated shots that lead to buckets for her team. This young lady is an exciting prospect to watch. Keep your eyes on her throughout the course of July.
Courtney Farr Courtney Farr 5'7" | SG Polk Co. | 2022 State TN (5’7/CG/ Polk Co./ TN Lady Volcanoes/ Class of 2022)– Courtney continues to impress coaches and scouts all around. Averaging double figures a game, this young lady is a heady player who just gets it done. She is tough as nails defensively and doesn’t mind doing the dirty work that helps her team win. Offensively, she can shoot it from multiple levels consistently. She’s a competitor that is up for anything her coach asks her to do. Look for her to create even more waves for her play throughout the month of July.
Annalise Malone (6’0/ PF/ Lincoln County/ Nashville Stars Premier/ Class of 2022)- This young lady is a beast down low. She has great footwork that enables her to unleash a plethora of moves with her back to the basket or even faced up. Annalise has been an intricate part of her club’s success at the Battle of the Boro in Louisville, KY. Scoring in double figures and grabbing boards, this talented student-athlete is catching some eyes from many recruiters. Keep watch as she battles it out throughout the course of July.
