#55 Claire Graham Claire Graham 5'8" | SG Jim Ned | 2022 State TX
Graham is one of those players you need to guard when she steps onto the court, they have numerous other saying like from the parking lot or concession stand and after watching her drop the long ball from very very deep all club season, those saying fit as well yet she seems to fit in a variety of systems because not only can she shoot, she can “catch and shoot” and with a release as quick as hers, she does it effortlessly and accurately, however, she can also create her shot and drop the pull-up jumper with a hand in her face or score off the dribble
#60 Emelie Ezukanma Emelie Ezukanma 6'3" | C Timber Creek | 2022 State TX
Ezukanma was solid all summer yet watching her help lead her team to 3 wins in bracket play in a span of a little over 8 hours at Prime Time Nationals is why she’s here because she started her day off dominating on the inside and finished it just like she started, dominating and that energy was observed up close by myself as she went after everything that came off the rim. She also finished strongly around the basket against players as tall or taller as I add “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against”
#69 Xoe Rosalez Xoe Rosalez 5'6" | PG Seminole | 2022 State TX
Rosalez was absent from Heart Of Texas this season and I hit her dad up and he told me she had switched teams and was playing at Boo Williams so she made her presence felt with DFW Elite 17U EYBL as one of their top scorers, no surprise to me because I already knew she could shoot it and watching her set the defender up has been a treat, she showed that at PGH 250 but she also showed she could run the 1 and 2, she sees the floor and controls the tempo, aka as “she understands how to run a team” yet she also understands how to get hers in the flow
#73 Deja Lumsden Deja Lumsden 5'11" | PF Timber Creek | 2022 State TX
Lumsden was another piece to the Fort Worth Lady Hornets puzzle as they won those 3 games in a little over 8 hours in bracket play at Prime Time Nationals but watching her take the defender to the left, to the left for the pull-up jumper was also a hit, well she did from the right or right down the middle but hey, she’s long and athletic and elevates on her jumper, getting it off whenever she wants against whoever she wants but she has also improved her all-around game and seeing her attack from the wing and finish not only after contact but acrobatically as she sometimes defied gravity was a treat but her playing the passing lane was icing on the cake
#77 Erika Suarez Erika Suarez 5'7" | SG Hendrickson | 2022 State TX
Suarez club coaches had been bragging about her ability to shoot the ball so I was prepared, well actually I wasn’t because she was everything they said until I saw her take a huge hit and I thought she was done, so asked her and she said, no sir, my team needs me and a trifecta of threes later gave them the win, I can’t make this stuff up but that stuck with me like defenses need to stick with her because she can score, not just shoot, she scores. The mid to long-range, yeah she creates it and also attacks off the dribble but she finds ways to get baskets for her team, that includes seeing the floor
