Jacquelyn DeJesse Jacquelyn DeJesse 5'5" | PG Chestnut Park | 2022 NC | Lady Attack Elite
Dejesse does a great job controlling the ball and moving it up the court finding her open teammates along the way. She dictates where her teammates should be going as they run a play in order to score off of it. She has a nice shot herself that she knows how to show off by sliding into the openings on the court. She can certainly drive to the basket herself. On defense, she picks the pocket of her opponents taking it the other direction.
Senali Moss Senali Moss 5'8" | CG South Mecklenburg | 2022 State NC | FBC Carolina Elite Charlotte Meadows
Moss (pictured above) was one of the more versatile players I saw this summer scoring on all three levels. She would drive the ball to the basket battling through contact. She did a nice job showing off fakes to put up her jump shot. She has good basketball size as well showing off how she can be a problem for her opponents on defense grabbing steals and blocking shots.
McKenna Snively McKenna Snively 5'9" | CG North Raleigh Christian | 2022 State NC | NC Attack
Snively had herself a hot summer shooting the ball. She would put up career high numbers in points, and then break her own record. Her shooting the ball from deep was something that was seen regularly. She doesn’t just score from behind the arc as she finds remarkable ways to get to the basket whether she is driving the ball herself or making cuts to catch a pass. She can certainly grab steals to score on the other end of the court.
Emily Hege Emily Hege CG North Davidson | 2022 State NC | Lady Phoenix CBA United Rudd
Hege is another shooter who went off this summer showing off high percentages behind the arc on a frequent basis. Her confidence in her shot even allowed her to hit some clutch ones late in tight games in July. She sees the floor well knowing exactly where to move in order to score the ball whether or not she is taking the ball all the way to the hoop, finding her open teammates while she drives, or setting herself up for a midrange jump shot.
