Kate Jones Kate Jones 5'9" | CG Greensboro Day | 2022 NC | Greensboro Lady Gaters
Jones is known as an excellent shooter for sure. She has certainly expanded that resume this summer with her ability to get to the basket even showing off some post moves to score. She’s an excellent ball handler that knows how to get nice passes to her teammates, especially as she is drawing defenders towards her. She goes after rebounds as well, and she can even block shots on defense.
Maya Chocano | Lady Attack Elite
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching Maya Chocano play this summer as you can tell that she gives each game her all going after loose balls, crashing the board for rebounds, driving the ball against aggressive defenders, and showing off her shot from downtown. She takes control of games every time she touches the ball knowing exactly where to move with it or get her teammates involved.
Mariah Barrie Mariah Barrie 5'9" | CG Central Cabarrus | 2022 NC | PSB Elite
Barrie (pictured above) shows off her athleticism every time she steps on the court. She is an excellent ball handler that can get around any opponent that tries to stand in her way. She gets to the basket with ease, but if she is met with contact, she shows off an ability to battle through it. On defense, she is aggressive going after the ball grabbing steals and diving on the floor for loose possessions.
Mazie Helpman Mazie Helpman 5'10" | SG Swain County | 2022 NC | Team Carolina
Helpman is another player who gives every game her all hustling after the ball, anticipating passes on defense, and constantly moving on offense to be an asset for her teammates. She has a nice shot from behind the arc, and she can also use fakes to drive around her opponent getting to the basket with ease. She scores three points the old fashioned way as well.
