Continue ReadingI hit the Mansfield Fieldhouse the first part of the day and then traveled over to Mansfield Legacy HS to catch a couple of sessions and came away with this and always remember, get in where you fit in, don’t get caught up in nonsense which is abundant on social media, this is coming from a dad who coached an INDEPENDENT and daughter had over 100 D1 offers so that in itself should supersede ignorance being posted
Hailey Adams-6’0 PG (SA Hoops Elite-Gold) Clark HS (2022)
Adams falls into so many categories and her versatility will make her a multiple threat at the next level, first of all she’s a heady point guard that can run a team, handles the ball under pressure, sees the floor and just gets the job done yet she also stands at “the magic number” and can shoot the ball, remember college coaches love big guards that can shoot plus she scores off the dribble and she showed all of that to open the event
Gabbie Fields Gabbie Fields 5'6" | CG Brownsfield | 2022 State TX -5’7 SG (Team Lex Breeze 2022) Brownfield HS (2022)
Fields impressed me with her scoring in the playoffs, via livestream I knew what I was looking at yet I hate livestream and seeing her explosiveness right in front of me was special she explodes off the dribble, as well as the jumper and just finds ways to put the ball in the basket
Tiffany Liddie-5’9 SG (Texas Platinum 17U Bates) Rockwall-Heath HS (2022)
Liddie slices her way to the basket, she’s long and athletic so that’s one of her advantages to go with “the base” yet her body control always comes in handy as she finishes strongly after contact. I like how she creamer shot, the jumper is smooth and consistent and when you add she plays the passing lane….
Salese Blow Salese Blow 5'10" | SF Vines | 2023 State TX -5’10 CG (Texas Platinum 16 U Walker) Vines HS (2023)
Blow as in “right by you” she is also long and athletic but she’s strong and athletic as well and can simply overpower defenders in the paint so finishing with players hanging on her, figuratively, well literally at times, was nice, so was her rebounding on both ends and defense, on the ball, baseline to baseline
Calista Perez-5’4 SG (SA Lady Hoops Gold 2023) Stevens HS (2023)
Perez pulled up and showed out, starting with an abundance of steals, either taking the ball from the defender or anticipation, playing the passing lane, which led to baskets going the other way yet she also, pulled up for the jumper, that was solid, so was her scoring off the dribble
Rieyan Desouze-5’6 PG (Lady Jets Elite Lewis) 2022
Desouze is right on track, new she was going to create some problems seeing her in the 3rd grade, the game starts at the 1 and she has certain things you can teach, like poised under pressure that simply stands out on whatever platform she’s on, providing you know and comprehend what you’re looking at, so seeing her run a team to a tee and understand how to get the ball tot he right person or take over when she had to spoke volumes
