She told me, I’m old and forgot yet I’ll never forget the first time I saw her and knew what I was looking at but here are some of the others and why
Kaitlyn Duhon-6’0 (Summer Creek) 2022
Duhon is out yet she will be back and she’s going to make her squad one of the teams to beat in R3, the list is very short yet she’s long and athletic, and watching her coach on the sideline showed me even more about her BB-IQ. Her ability, well she was inadvertently omitted on PGH Top 100, huge entrance is coming
Mackenzie McKown (Memorial) 2022
McKown will give Memorial another outside scoring threat and with the abundance of shooters able to stretch the defense, how about the whole starting five from mid to long-range, her addition will out the in that R-3 6A shortlist so her return will definitely be a huge lift for this impressive squad
Tianna Murray Tianna Murray 5'4" | PG Paetow | 2022 State TX (Katy Paetow) 2022
Murray, like the grease, is slick and can hold which equates to her being a smart defensive player that can man up baseline to baseline. If her “on the ball” efforts aren’t enough, how about her dropping the long ball as well as taking defenders off the dribble yet she can play both the 1 and 2
Farren Donald-Wright (St Pius) 2022
Donald-Wright gave her squad an extra scorer last season and this year, with the new additions, this will open up even more opportunities for her. She understands how to score in the flow, she doesn’t force shots and she lets the game come to her but that mid to long-range will be helpful throughout the season
Atria Dumas (North Shore) 2022
Dumas is 6’2! Now that I have your attention, she’s ready to go out with a bang and with a healthy North Shore squad, anything can happen in a one-game playoff elimination series so yes, she will be ket as she scores around the rim, finishes after contact but even bigger is her presence in the paint to alter, deflect or block shots
Eryn Lloyd (Langham Creek) 2023
Lloyd is just a menace on defense, she actually enjoys playing it and when you have speed, athleticism and comprehend the basics, like how to trap as well as play the passing lane, good things will happen yet she can “man-up” in a hunnid as well as score off the dribble as well as drop the outside shot
