Sabrina Lewis Sabrina Lewis 5'8" | SG Stab | 2023 State VA -2023-STAB
Knock down shooter, with great court vision and passing ability. Has deep range on her shot, can create for herself and others. Sabrina gets to the paint and utilizes variety of fakes to get her shot off over taller defenders. She finds open teammates and is a crafty passer in the paint. Coming off a strong summer, picked up an offer from Gardner-Webb.
Dylan Wood-2024-Monticello
Good size on the wing at 5’10, nice range on her shot. She has the court vision and ball handling ability to play the lead guard position, but is most effective spotting up and creating her shot off the dribble. Playing up this summer with Cap City Ballerz has prepared her for a big sophomore campaign.
Madeline Rice-2023-STAB
Gritty, tough, hard-nose player who gets after it on both ends. She is a lockdown defender, capable of guarding the perimeter and banging in the post when needed. Plays with tons of energy and enthusiasm that rubs off on teammates. She had a great July on the AAU circuit and is ready to play a bigger role within the STAB system.
Amaya Pendleton-2022-Albermarle
Amaya had a strong summer, showing her ability to shoot the 3, handle the rock and get to the bucket. She plays hard all game, has great footwork in the paint and can post up smaller guards. Amaya is capable of putting up big numbers, she can finish in the paint and shoot the 3 ball with consistency. Amaya is the senior leader for Albemarle and has already shown she is willing to put the team on her back in big games.
Presleigh Braxton Presleigh Braxton 5'6" | PG Miller | 2023 State VA -2023-Miller School
Two sport stud, she is a big time scorer, averaged well over 20pts a game last season shooting above 50% from the field. Presleigh has great court vision, controls flow of the game and doesn’t over dribble. She has a smooth stroke from 3 and finishes well with either hand around the basket.
Brooklin Ingram Brooklin Ingram 5'9" | SG Miller | 2023 State VA -2023-Miller School
Great size at the guard position, standing 5’11. Transfer from North Carolina, will make Miller’s backcourt one of the best in the area. Her length and ability to score anywhere on the court makes her a difficult matchup. She absorbs contact, has a nice midrange game and can shoot the 3. Two way player, she has quick feet defensively and harasses opposing guards. She has the ability to create lots of turnovers with her length and challenges shots in the paint.
Ava Ewen-2024-Western Albemarle
Coming off a freshman season where she was 1st team all Jefferson District, she is ready for a big sophomore campaign. Ava is a knock down three point shooter, plays with poise and consistency. She knows how to utilize screens and has a nice step back to create space.
Samantha Shifflett-2024-Monticello
Samantha played big minutes and was a major contributor for a young Monticello team. Mature player, can score in a variety of ways and has good court vision. Pushes the ball in transition, creates for teammates and has a nice shot to the 3pt line. Samantha is an aggressive defender, plays the passing lanes for deflections and steals.
