The Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey team has fully released its prospect rankings and watch lists for this season, and in this article, we’ll be finishing up the 2022 prospect rankings.
Below, we’ll be talking about the No. 47-50 senior prospects for this season as ranked by our PGH NJ team. The remainder of the prospect rankings articles will be put out through the remainder of October and in November.
No. 47: Adriana Agosto Adriana Agosto 5'7" | SG Rancocas Valley | 2022 State NJ – 5-7 SG, Rancocas Valley
Agosto is the unquestionable leader of this Rancocas Valley team after breaking out in her junior year, averaging 13.8 PPG, her first season putting up double figures on offense. She’s shown great levels of improvement on both sides of the ball.
What we’ve seen noticeably is an uptick in production from beyond the arc, something she really excelled in during the spring season. Agosto made 1.9 three-pointers a game. Average that out over a full season and she’s making nearly 60 three-pointers a year.
After what she’s accomplished in the AAU circuit with Team Final, we’re expecting a massive season from her, well over 15.0 PPG and probably closer to three made three-pointers a game.
No. 48: Madelyn Morgan Madelyn Morgan 5'9" | SG Warren Hills | 2022 State NJ – 5-9 SG, Warren Hills
Morgan is another sharp-shooter who was one of the most effective and efficient shooters in the Skyland Conference, knocking down 1.5 three-pointers a game in the spring.
She led Warren Hills in scoring last season, averaging 13.7 PPG and 4.6 RPG. Morgan is a multi-tooled playmaker up in North Jersey and arguably the best part of her game is her defense. She averaged just over 1.5 SPG in the spring and has recorded 71 steals over the past two seasons.
Morgan posted career-highs in most statistical categories in the spring, and while it was an abbreviated season, she’s shown that she is one of the most complete guards in the region. This winter we’ll see that in full force.
No. 49: Anna Hansson Anna Hansson 6'3" | C Hunterdon Central | 2022 State NJ – 6-3 C, Hunterdon Central
Hansson might not have put up the insane statistics that some others on this list did, but where they lacked and she excelled was on the defensive end of the court.
She averaged 5.7 RPG and 1.6 BPG in her second season on varsity, improving significantly from her sophomore year. Hansson is blessed with the gift of height, and that plays a major role when it comes to that aforementioned defense.
Someone who is 6-3 is an intimidating presence on any team, and she’s now realizing just how good she can be and how she can utilize that size advantage. The points and rebounds will follow and her overall dominance on the court is coming in a big way this winter.
No. 50: Mia Robbins Mia Robbins 5'11" | C Eastern Regional | 2022 State NJ – 5-11 C, Eastern Regional
Robbins is Eastern’s main forward this season as Giana Rullo graduated in the spring and as the team’s leading scorer last season and returning leading scorer this season, her success will be key to the team’s overall success.
She averaged 13.3 PPG and 4.9 RPG last season, but her rebounding and block totals will increase significantly as a result of Rullo’s graduation.
Robbins has a lot of help at the guard position with the three-headed monster of Veyoni Davis Veyoni Davis 5'8" | CG Moorestown | 2024 PA , Maya Edwards and Jane Trauger. She’s shown to be an impressive interior presence with great scoring abilities. With her defense expected to be just as impressive this winter, look out for an incredible season from her.
