McKenna Snively McKenna Snively 5'9" | CG North Raleigh Christian | 2022 State NC | North Raleigh Christian | 2022
Snively showed off her defensive strengths sliding into passing lanes and knocking the ball away from her opponents. On the other end, she did a great job finding open teammates. She continues to show off her three point shooting ability, and I am sure Christopher Newport is looking forward to adding that talent to their lineup next season.
Katie Houpt Katie Houpt 5'10" | SF South Mecklenburg | 2022 NC | South Meck | 2022
Houpt came out hot on Saturday showing how she is certainly a shooting threat from deep knocking down multiple in a row. She was able to grab steals for her team on defense obtaining another opportunity to get the ball up the court on a fast break. Denison is certainly getting a great athlete playing on both ends of the court.
Maya Robinson | NC GBB | 2023
Robinson showed off her deep shooting ability right off the bat hitting multiple in as many possessions. She did a great job picking the pocket of her opponents and pushing it up the court. When handling the ball, she knew how to get space between her and her defender to show off her jump shot. She saw the floor well finding her open teammates cutting to the basket. She slides into the gaps on defense and is always ready to get the ball through the hoop.
Mia Xerras Mia Xerras 5'6" | CG Myers Park | 2023 State NC | Myers Park | 2023
Xerras continues to dominate when it comes to making three pointers. She even showed off her ability to crash boards for rebounds, and she had some nice long passes up the court to flashing teammates for some fast break points. She was a tough defender to get by knocking the ball away from her opponents as they tried to get by her.
Madisyn Jordan Madisyn Jordan 6'0" | SG Panther Creek | 2023 State NC | Panther Creek | 2023
Jordan does a great job seeing the floor and whipping passes into her open teammates for some points. Her ball handling is difficult to defend making her dominant no matter where she is on the court. She hit a huge three pointer late in a close game showing off her ability to expand the court, and that certainly wasn’t her only one over the tournament.
Ally Guglielmo | Southwest Guilford | 2024
Guglielmo (pictured above) was a tough opponent to get by jumping into passing lanes and pushing it up the court finding her open teammates in transition. She slid into the trap position perfectly on defense leading to steals for her team. She showed off her shot from deep on several occasions knowing the importance of timing and moving the ball to find the opening.
Khloe Moye | North Raleigh Christian | 2026
Moye plays as if she’s been playing varsity basketball for years, and I had to do a double take to see she is technically in 8th grade. She fit right in with North Raleigh’s offense constantly moving without the ball to the open areas and show off her shot, especially from behind the three point line. Colleges should definitely keep their eyes on this athlete as she continues to get more and more experience under her belt.
