Paytyn Taake Paytyn Taake 5'5" | CG Battle Creek | 2022 State NE – 5’5 G 2022 – Battle Creek – Paytyn is an excellent guard for Battle Creek and a top playmaker for her team. She’s all over the court making plays, with a stat-line of 10.1 ppg., 2.5 apg., 4.6 rpg., and 3.1 stls. A highly efficient scorer, with a 51% field goal percentage. She finished last season with a 19 point game versus Winnebago. Moves well overall and without the ball and is heavily involved on both ends. Plays sound defense on the ball, keeping the ball in front of her. Could have a tighter handle on the ball put can slash and moves so well without the ball.
Lindsey Bolling Lindsey Bolling 5'5" | SG Battle Creek | 2022 State NE – 5’5 G 2022 – Battle Creek – Lindsey is a combination of being a role player but makes crucial plays for her team, also making solid decisions with the ball. Makes plays with her effort and energy on defense. Seems to come up with the ball more times than not. Will contest shooters and fly around the court.
Joslyn Hrabanek Joslyn Hrabanek 5'10" | PF Battle Creek | 2022 State NE – 5’10 F 2022 – Battle Creek – Against Lutheran-Northeast she commanded a lot of attention from the defense. A solid contributor for Battle Creek, chipping in 3.2 ppg. and 3.1 rpg., while shooting 46% from the field. Joslyn may be an overlooked prospect, but she’s got some good size, movement, and inside ability. She was a solid and consistent rebounder from game to game.
Mya Zohner Mya Zohner 5'8" | SG Battle Creek | 2023 State NE – 5’7-5’8 G 2023 – Battle Creek – Mya is an upcoming Junior that played as a Sophomore. She’s a fairly exciting up and coming prospect for Battle Creek that could potentially surprise a few this season. By stats, she played well down the stretch of the season. She contributed a 15 point game, was aggressive late, and made a good amount of steals.
Reagan Brummels Reagan Brummels 5'10" | PF Battle Creek | 2023 State NE – 5’10 F/C 2023 – Battle Creek – I didn’t find a listed height for Reagan but she looks to be in the 5’10 range — judging from film. She plays with some strength inside and will power it at the rim when she goes to score inside.
Mia Wiederin Mia Wiederin 5'7" | SG Lutheran-Northeast | 2022 State NE – 5’7 G 2023 – Lutheran-Northeast – Mia is a scoring threat on the court, averaging 11.8 ppg., while making 32 threes, going 32-100 for 32%. She shows an aggressive offensive mind-set and she could put up some high scoring numbers this season. She can handle the ball as a lefty and make some drives and passes well from inside the lane. Not a lighting-quick player but is smooth and controlled with the ball in her hands. Does a good job of taking care of the ball, and possesses the ball quite often in their offense.
Mia Furst Mia Furst 5'10" | PF Lutheran-Northeast | 2022 State NE – 5’10 F 2022 – Lutheran-Northeast – Really like Mia’s effort and demeanor on the court. Plays with consistent energy and battles inside. She’s the heart and toughness of the defense on the inside. She put in 10.6 ppg. and brought down 5.7 boards per game last season. Likes to play in the paint on both ends and is active attacking the ball in the air.
Kendra Petersen Kendra Petersen 5'8" | SG Lutheran-Northeast | 2024 NE – 5’8 SG 2024 – Lutheran-Northeast – Kendra is a long guard/wing that moves well. She got varsity tick last season, with 4.7 ppg. in 16 mpg. Uses her length well on defense, with good positioning as well as extends her arms into passing lanes. Anticipates passes and jumps to the ball. Has some development with strength on offense, but she plays hard and runs the floor well on a wing.
Hannah Fouts Hannah Fouts 6'1" | C Lutheran-Northeast | 2023 State NE – 6’1 C 2023 – Lutheran-Northeast – Hannah has great overall size with a strong build to her. Didn’t get a ton of minutes, but produced 2.1 ppg. and 2.2 rpg. She’s deserving of being ranked in the next 2023 update because of her size and development potential.
