2022
Zeta Jenkins-6’1 C (Austin Bowie)
Jenkins is powerful in the paint, she scores around the basket and she also has a nice stroke from outside in fact her jumper from 10-15 feet gives her options because she can also attack from the wing however she rebounds on both ends of the court and that same power is shown on her putbacks which she completes after contact
Aaliyah Thomas-5’5 G ( Temple)
Thomas has speed with the ball and watching her go coast to coast, under control, and able to hit teammates on the money was nice, so yeah, her court vision works in the half-court as well but she also does a good job attacking off the dribble and the pull-up jumper gave her options
Nyteria Colbert-5’5 G (Temple)
Colbert was clutch down the stretch knocking down shots as well as free throws yet I’ve become accustomed to seeing her “poise under pressure” but her athleticism, especially on defense, definitely stood out as she was both “on the ball” and played the passing lane but she also battled for rebounds and knocked down jumpers galore
Deja Hinson Deja Hinson 5'6" | PG Clemens | 2022 State TX -5’7 G (Clemens)
Hinson is so strong that she can overpower guards without trying yet her handles enable her to do so many things like the jumper which she creates under pressure to the “HEZ” okay HEZZIE, to get the defender off balance and let me not forget those amazing finishes with either hand, after contact, which is highlight-worthy
2023
Bailey Featherstone-5’9 F (Round Rock)
Featherstone left a definite lasting impression as she went #THROWBACK on me just by her effort and “not taking a play off” yet she’s strong and powerful, rebounded against taller players and scored on putbacks, against taller players but she also has a nice pull-up jumper and can score off the dribble and finish after contact
Deja Zuniga-5’4 G (Round Rock)
Zuniga did a good job handling the ball under pressure as well as seeing the floor yet she attacked the basket strongly, numerous times to finish and showed good body control on her finishes. She also did a good job defending
Aysia Proctor Aysia Proctor 5'7" | CG Clemens | 2023 State TX -5’9 G (Clemens)
Proctor is one you don’t want to Gamble with while defending, yeah I’ve used that line before but evidently, no one is listening because she is a scoring machine, the patented jumper is picture perfect as she gets to wherever she wants and elevates over defenders, at times defying gravity, to drop and her acrobatic finishes are really nice
Emma McCarthy-5’7 G (Austin Bowie)
McCarthy caught my eye during club season and made my Tip Sheet but here’s another tip, I was right, well I’m always right, and watching her play the passing lane was thrilling because she’s probably going to score multiple ways after the steal. She handles the ball well in the open court and she sees the floor not to omit that stop and pop jumper is just solid
