Kennedy Townsend Kennedy Townsend 5'8" | CG Park Hill | 2022 State MO 5’9″ Park Hill: The talented Creighton recruit scored a game-high 23 points in the Trojans victory over Bishop LeBlond. She is a bucket from all three levels, plus she did a good job of getting her teammates involved with some nice passing. She’s a high scorer who is very unselfish. Her mid-range game off the bounce is money. She is also a ball hawk on defense who converted a couple of steals into buckets.
Averi Kroenke Averi Kroenke 5'11" | CG Rock Bridge | 2022 State MO 5’11″ Rock Bridge: The 2022 Mizzou recruit put in a strong effort in the Bruins’ victory over Odessa. Her overall skill level is excellent as everyone knows, but I am impressed her strength and how she can get into the lane off the dribble and how she can post up for short jumpers in the lane. She’s an excellent rebounder and she finds open teammates with her passing.
Kianna Herrera 5’11″ LeBlond: A 2022 Benedictine recruit who is the tallest and most versatile player for her team. She scored a team-high 19 points against Park Hill in the evening’s finale. She is a strong multi-tasker as she can play virtually any position on the floor. She is the team’s primary ball handler and facilitator on offense. She is a dynamic 3-point shooter with a nice high-arching shot from long distance. When she saw a double-team, she delivered some nice dimes to open teammates for buckets.
Grace Slaughter Grace Slaughter 6'1" | CG Grain Valley | 2023 State MO 6’2″ Grain Valley: The 2023 Mizzou commit battled her way to 14 points in Grain Valley’s loss to a very strong Olathe North team. She is such a difficult matchup problem with her height and overall skill set. She gets into the lane with a nice spin move and she can score with either hand via layups or scoop shots. When she wasn’t scoring, she was making her teammates better with her passing.
Cassidy Hambleton 5’5″ Dora: The 2022 guard followed up her 31-point performance on Tuesday with another sparkling performance on Wednesday in the Falcons’ victory over Odessa. She scored a game-high 29 points as she put on another dazzling performance of scoring, ball handling and passing wizardry.
Olivia Moore 5’10″ Cameron: A 2022 post player who played a strong game in her team’s victory over Platte County on Wednesday. She plays a physical game in the low post with her ability to seal her defenders and establish her position. She also stepped outside and hit a pair of 3-pointers from the top of the key. She also delivered some nice passes to the open cutters for buckets.
