Manasquan (3-0) — 53, Monmouth (1-2) — 30
Mary Donnelly Mary Donnelly 5'10" | SF Manasquan | 2022 State NJ , a senior and Holy Cross commit, scored a game-high 13 points and Hope Masonius contributed nine in Manasquan’s 53-30 victory over host Monmouth on Monday.
Monmouth’s Sydney Po, a senior, dropped in a team-best 12 points and added four rebounds while sophomore Olivia Gades led her squad with five steals.
Mastery Charter (1-1) — 40, Cherokee (1-1) — 36
Mastery Charter defeated host Cherokee in a tight tilt on Sunday.
Cherokee wing/post Gabby Recinto Gabby Recinto 5'10" | SF Cherokee | 2023 State NJ was able to shake off not feeling her physical best on Friday to post a double-double of 14 points and 10 boards.
St. Rose (2-0) — 75, Jackson Liberty (0-3) — 27
St. Rose and Bucknell-bound Rosie Scognamiglio Rosie Scognamiglio 5'10" | SG St. Rose | 2023 State NJ led the offensive explosion for her squad, draining a game-best 22 points.
A pair of exciting Purple Rose freshman, Cassidy Kruesi and Christa Ramos, dropped in 11 and 10 points, respectively, in the lopsided victory.
Synder (2-0) — 58, Bayonne (1-1) 52
Synder’s Jah’Nel Lewis Jah’Nel Lewis SG Snyder | 2023 State NJ paced all scorers with 22 points while senior Karine Thomas chipped in with 15 and Kyra Rose poured in 13 and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win on Monday.
Senior and Fairleigh Dickinson commit Eniya Scott Eniya Scott 5'6" | PG Bayonne | 2022 State NJ led Bayonne with 18 points and added seven boards and seven assists.
Freshman Giselle Davis poured in 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds while junior Christina Centeno added 10 for the Lady Fighting Bees.
