2022
Kayla Mackel-SF (Hoston Christian)
Mackel fills in many gaps for this talented squad as she uses her size efficiently to rebound on both ends as well as score not only around the basket but she can also drain the jumper, mid to long-range. She also does a good job on defense
Jade Miller Jade Miller 5'6" | PG Manvel | 2022 State TX -PG (Lutheran North)
Miller signed with Dillard however she has some unfinished business left in high school as she tries to help her squad defend their state championship (TAPPS-3A). She defends well, on the ball and she can drop the jumper, especially under pressure and her clutch 3 helped close the gap down the stretch and put LN in a position to tie
2023
Madison Williams-PG (Houston Christian)
Willaims understands how to control the tempo as well as distribute the ball to the right person at the right time and with 3 Mid to BCS players to choose from, she makes it look easy yet don’t get it twisted, she understands how to score in the flow
Lauren Cook-SG (Lutheran North)
Cook came up huge with big shot after big shot either to stop Houston Christian’s momentum or to propel her teams but she also showed something equally as important, poise under pressure which was pretty impressive against a team loaded with next-level players, “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against”
2024
Enrie Holt-5’5 PG (Episcopal)
Holt is the BOLT that holds her squad together yet she’s also the VOLT that ignites them. Heady PG that handles the ball under pressure, sees the floor and can drop the jumper, and like me and Bonecrusher, she ain’t Never Scared
Reagan Johnson-5’10 PF (Episcopal)
Johnson is long and athletic, that’s the base for those not paying attention and me writing UPS has nothing to do with parcels yet she delivered by blocking shots and rebounding on both ends
Shaniya Gamble-5’5 SG (Yates)
Gamble is someone you might not want to gamble with on the court because she’s athletic and can get to the rim to drop the floater, off-balance, and finish with contact. The shot is hard to block, the release is quick and she can drop it from deep
Kennedy Moore-5’9 PF (Yates)
Moore kept bringing more and more as she battles for rebounds on both ends, finishes on put-backs as well as showed she could score around the paint, and her finishes included after contact. She defends well inside the paint and runs the floor, on both ends
