2022
Cailyn Tucker-SG (Seven Lakes)
Tucker created her shot nicely on opening day and by her being able to drop the long ball, that opened things up across the board where teams couldn’t double team but she wasn’t the only Spartan that could shoot it, it’s just the way she shot it, nice quick release, this includes with a hand in her face but she also mixed it up to take defenders off the dribble. She handled the ball in transition and did a good job seeing the floor

Raimi McCrary Raimi McCrary 6'0" | PF Allen | 2023 State TX -6’1 SF (Allen)
McCrary put on a show at PGH 250 Expo, in fact, I was so impressed I wrote about her twice which equates to her making a huge debut on the next rankings update yet she has updated her game to fall into that “double-double waiting to happen” group. She’s physical around the basket, scores with players literally hanging on her yet she can handle the ball in the open court and dish it but she also is facing the basket to score, as well as applying defensive pressure both inside and outside the paint
Lyric Barr-6’0 PF (Katy)
Barr none as she continues to add even more to her game, so let’s start with her college-ready frame, that coupled with her agility makes her hard to handle around the basket, throw in the fact that she battles for the ball off the rim, on both ends and is finishing after contact with either hand but her power around the basket has been there, I’m more impressed with her playing the passing lane and handling the ball in the open court plus her court vision has gone through the roof. She also did a good job of attacking the basket from the wing
2024
Justice Carlton Justice Carlton 6'1" | PF Seven Lakes | 2024 State TX -6’2 PF (Seven Lakes)
Carlton is showing not only her dominance in the paint but her versatility as she’s added more to her game and again, I base everything on what I see not what self-promoters say but her game is definitely promoting itself. Yeah, she set the school record in scoring a few weeks ago, then she broke her own record at the event but she ain’t just making layups, she’s handling the ball and showing the jumper in transition yet her hands and footwork are just college-ready right now so she was definitely the MVP of the event
2025
Aniyah Foy Aniyah Foy 6'0" | SG Cinco Ranch | 2025 State TX -6’0 SG (Cinco Ranch)
Foy is one of the top freshmen in the country, she’s been in that group for a while yet what I’m loving about her is that she’s understanding the game and setting her teammates up for baskets and one more time, you go from good to great when you make those around you better, she on that route. Long and athletic will always be the base yet she rounds all four with a home run because mid to long-range, off the dribble, acrobatic finishes included, and her ability to not only play the passing lane but rebound and go coast to coast to score seals it
