Kennedy Powell (Conroe)
Powell is very athletic and has SWB, that’s “speed with ball” and that means she can go by you under control in the blink of an eye however don’t blink, you might miss something like her dropping the jumper or attacking the rim where she finishes or dishes. As an added plus, she also plays the passing lane and did a good job on the defensive end
Danny Navarro (Colleyville Heritage)
Navarro has good speed and handles the ball under control going at full throttle but just as important is her passing going full speed as well as in the set, well off the dribble as well as she attacks the basket to dish or finish but court vision across the board
Evelyn Lorenzo (Killeen Ellison)
Lorenzo was definitely a sparkplug for her squad, her ability to create her shot was nice but so was her handling the ball and zig-zagging by defenders to either finish or pass to her teammates but she also saw the floor in the set, controlled the tempo when needed but her defense was, how can I say this, smothering and she came up with numerous steals
Raquel Hawk (Cy Falls)
Hawk was flying everywhere with her explosive first step to get to the rim whenever she wanted yet she also did a good job of handling the ball under pressure in the open court as well as seeing the floor and making the right passes to the right teammate at the right time. Watching her go coast to coast was definitely a treat, so was observing her intensity on defense, she does a good job” on the ball” yet she also plays the passing lane well
Chrishelle Washington Chrishelle Washington 5'7" | CG North Shore | 2022 State TX (North Shore)
Washington can sing off the court, well should I say sang, yet the tunes she spits out for her team definitely hit as well. The Mustangs are a different team when she’s healthy and on the court, why d I say that, because I’m an expert and she makes those around her better. She understands how to control the tempo as well as when to push it yet her passes are on the money, this includes TOUCHDOWNS the length of the floor yet she also scores both off the dribble and mid to long-range
Kylie Weeks (Oak Ridge)
Weeks was solid, doesn’t get flustered when pressured, and did a good job of applying it as well, both attacking the rim as well as on the defensive end however let me also add her ability to attack and dish was solid but so was her court vision period
Ashlei Angel (Katy)
Angel does a good job across the board, she’s athletic, handles the ball under pressure, and can score, off the dribble, finishing after contact, as well as dropping the mid to long-range jumper but her ability to run her squad is the icing on the cake, she controls the tempo and sees the floor well
