Jaycie Cook | Wing | 2024 | Cabot High School
Jaycie showed that she was a solid on-ball defender with the pressure she applied. She could get out in transition and push the ball. Jaycie made some really good plays for her teammates with her ability to see the floor and her on-target passing. She could also make the pull-up jumper in the mid-range.
Brenlee Leonard | Post | 2023 | Cabot High School
Brenlee was a solid all-around post player. She did a really good job of being in help position and providing really good help defense when an opponent attacked the basket. Brenlee showed she had soft hands, can score around the basket, can make the turn around short jumper, and attacked the offensive boards.
Carly Madar Carly Madar 5'10" | SF Cabot | 2023 AR | Wing | 2023 | Cabot High School
Every coach loves a player that is going to play hard and that’s exactly what Carly did out on the floor. Offensively, she was very efficient off the catch. She can make the catch and shoot three or put the ball on the floor to make a play for herself or for a teammate. She gets out in transition for the finish at the rim or finds the open spot behind the three-point line.
Alex Newland Alex Newland 5'11" | C Greenbrier | 2023 State AR | Post | 2023 | Greenbrier High School
You don’t have to score a lot of points to have an impact on the game. There’s a lot more to basketball than just scoring and Alex does a good job of displaying those skills. She gets good position on the post and can pass to cutters, she relocates well on penetration, and when she crashes the offensive boards, she does a good job of finding the open shooter.
Emma Rehm | Wing | 2022 | Greenbrier High School
Emma is a player that can get out in transition and finish the play herself. She can take it herself down the floor or run the lane and spot up for the open three-pointer. She’s also a threat in the half-court. She understands spacing and making herself available for the kick-out pass off penetration for the three.
Ramiah Freeman | Guard | 2022 | White Hall High School
Ramiah was a player that came off the bench and played with a lot of energy. She was able to come in and provide good minutes and played hard on both ends of the floor. She was good off the pick and roll which allowed her to get to the rim for the finish. Defensively she was solid. She gave great effort making the offense work for everything they got.
