Madison McKinnon Madison McKinnon 5'8" | PG Fredricksburg | 2024 State TX 5’7 G
McKinnon showed promise as a 5th grader playing up and every year since then, I have her talent go up so her aggressiveness attacking the rim as well as finishing after contact was extremely once, so is her ability to be “instant offense” off the bench, many players can’t do this and she’s definitely showing she can score in any setting but her mid to long-range has always been good, it’s just better and deeper and observing her coming off the screen to drop the shot as well as her ability to “catch and shoot” had me beaming
Taylor Grona-5’6 G
Grona is a coach’s daughter so certain things automatically are going to happen, like her intensity, which stays the same from start to finish, and observing her diving on the floor for loose balls is just having me drop #THROWB ACK because that hashtag is somewhat of a lost art. She attacked the rim and finishes, has a nice pull-up jumper but she applies heat on the defensive end and this includes her playing the passing lane
Jordan Zenner-5’5 G
Zenner has the right last name, peep this ZEN is slang for feeling peaceful and relaxed so her being heady and not getting flustered by pressure fits but watching her create her shot under pressure also fits because she understands when to take the shot, she can score in the flow and she forces nothing yet that 3 ball is pretty good, so is her upside when you factor in she handles the ball and sees the floor, both under pressure
Madison Frantzen-5’9 F
Frantzen did a very good job on the boards and giving away a few inches here and there means nothing when you understand positioning, she does, and when you have #DESIRE another hashtag I love dropping yet an even bigger one is #BATTLES b because she goes after everything off the rim and to keep everything in perspective, she not only scores off the dribble but can drop the pull-up jumper with a hand in her face
Aurora Araiza-5’4 G
Araiza is also heady and handles the pressure very well. She reads the traps coming at her yet her court vision, as well as pinpoint, passes definitely give her teammates good looks, and those passes can come in the form of full-court touchdowns or in the set yet she also can dish off the dribble, well she can keep it and score herself but she also showed range, long and deep and dropped it consistently
