Avery Crouse-5’8 F (Fredericksburg)
Crouse is long and athletic, always remember that’s the base, and she did a good job of not only rebounding on both ends but scoring around the basket, this includes putbacks
Crystal Palomo-G (Sinton)
Palomo was solid in many aspects of her game yet watching players play the passing lane just thrills me, it’s a lost art and she did well along with dropping the long ball
Melissa Hornedo-5’1 PG (Antonian)
Hornedo rhymes with a tornado, well sort of, yet you see where this is going because she understands how to do damage to the defense. She’s heady, sees the floor, and can score both off the dribble and mid to long-range
Zariah Todd-5’5 G (Antonian)
Todd is very athletic and understands how to use her athletic ability on both ends. She applies heat while defending yet a deceptive first step allows her to apply it while attacking off the dribble and finishing
Mihyia Davis (Lovelady)
Davis finishes after contact, so many players did, yet she understands how to create contact which makes her an “and one” waiting to happen” yet off the dribble with either hand is nice, she finishes with both hands as well
Ashley Torres-G (Granbury)
Torres was very impressive, she played the passing lane, which caught my attention and she finished using good body control, which kept my attention yet she can drop the jumper and she sees the floor, yet those acrobatic finishes were highlight-worthy
Landri Withers-5’11 F (Stephenville)
Withers probably isn’t kin to Bill yet Ain’t No Sunshine trying to attack her as she’s long and athletic with good timing to block shots yet she also showed she could score off the dribble
Trysten Monk-5’9 F (Stephenville)
Monk was solid, understood how to create her shot, and scored in the flow yet that flow included dropping the long ball
Raylea Parsons (Iowa Park)
Parsons is heady, plays under control, and had good court vision to go along with the multiple three pointers she dropped with a hand in her face
Gracyn Fields (Iowa Park)
Fields created her shot under pressure, didn’t force, and basically let the game come to her yet she showed she could handle the ball and drop the long ball
Aaliyah Saldivar-5’3 G (Graham)
Saldivar scored off the dribble, saw the floor and made the right passes, and played the passing lane but she also brought plenty of intensity on the defensive end
Taylor Wilborn-5’6 G (Graham)
Wilborn set the defender up nicely to take off the dribble and she outrebounded taller players which equate to DESIRE and give her #THROWBACK hashtags
Tristin Keller Tristin Keller 5'8" | PG Mason | 2022 State TX (Mason)
Keller plays multiple sports, including football yet she can score multiple ways and she is also a good facilitator as she not only sets teammates up for ways baskets but she’s their vocal leader
McKenzy Wise-5’10 F (Liberty Hill)
Wise scored off the dribble and showed she could drop the long ball but she also did a good job rebounding, on both ends of the court
Madison Walker-5’7 G (Liberty Hill)
Walker scored off the dribble and showed a nice pull-up jumper from mid to long-range
Regan Walker-5’7 G (Liberty Hill)
Walker also scored off the dribble, saw the floor well, and applied some heart defensively
