Kennedy Townsend Kennedy Townsend 5'8" | CG Park Hill | 2022 State MO 5’9″ Park Hill: The Creighton recruit scored a game-high 22 points to lead Park Hill to a victory over Maryville. She’s a three-level scorer on offense who can get buckets in a variety of ways. She can create off the dribble and knock down 3-pointers from the perimeter. She also has some crafty moves around the basket where she can score with either hand and on reverse layups at difficult angles. She can also handle the ball and make plays for others.
Gabi Henderson-Artis 5’10” Bishop Miege (KS): The talented wing scored a game-high 21 points in the Stags’ victory over host Benton. She is a tremendous 3-point shooter who really got on a shooting roll in the second half when she was dropping one trey after another in an impressive display of shooting. She also has good mobility with the ability to handle the ball.
Amaya Blake Amaya Blake 5'8" | CG Park Hill | 2022 State MO 5’8″ Park Hill: The UMSL recruit scored 13 points in the victory over Maryville. She used her physical strength to score on some tough takes to the basket. She’s really good when she’s going to her left where she can has a very effective pull-up jumper and a nice hesitation move to freeze defenders in their tracks.
Kiley Duchardt 5’10″ St. Joseph’s Academy: A solid combo forward who does an excellent job around the basket. She’s strong and she made some tough catches in traffic, which led to buckets. She is always moving around in the post and she also cuts off the ball well and runs the court. I like her energy as she doesn’t take plays off.
Riley Vierthake 5’11″ Maryville: A solid wing player who scored a team-high 19 points against Park Hill. She moves well without the basketball and she has good 3-point range. She can also score on the drive and she uses her height to score in the post against smaller defenders. She also sets good screens and slips well to the basket to get herself open.
Allison Jansen 5’11″ St. Joseph’s Academy: An all-purpose wing player who has good length and plays with excellent activity, which enables her to impact the game in a variety of ways. She plays the passing lanes well and she rebounds her position very effectively. She can also hit a nice mid-range jumper from the elbow.
Sy’yere Banks 5’9″ St. Michael the Archangel: A strong wing player who is skilled enough to play the facilitator role as a ball handler and strong enough to get work done inside against taller players. She’s a lefty who can power into the lane off the dribble to make a play.
