K.K. Brody 6’4″ Rock Bridge: The Pepperdine recruit was the Player of the Game in the Bruins victory over Jefferson City Helias. After sitting for the early part of the game due to foul trouble, she came back strong in the second half to have a huge impact. When Helias cut the lead to three points in the fourth quarter, she took over the game as she scored in the post, hit the elbow jumper and closed down the middle on defense with her shot blocking.
Averi Kroenke Averi Kroenke 5'11" | CG Rock Bridge | 2022 State MO 5’11″ Rock Bridge: The Mizzou recruit had a nice-steady game in the Bruins victory over Helias. The talented point guard played the facilitator role as she found the open shooters and got the ball inside to the post. When it was time to score, she can create her own shot in a variety of ways. She used her size to score in the post and she was strong enough to muscle into the lane.
Raegan Brown Raegan Brown 5'10" | CG South Callaway | 2022 State MO 5’9″ South Callaway: The 2022 guard was the Player of the Game after leading South Callaway to a victory over Osage. She scored a game-high 23 points while making four of five from 3-point range. In addition to her excellent shooting, she was also an excellent ball handler and playmaker who made her teammates better.
Christine Maltsberger 5’8″ Rock Bridge: The 2022 guard proved to be quite the sharpshooter in the Bruins’ victory over Helias. With the Crusaders’ defense collapsing inside, she took advantage by knocking down four 3-pointers to get the Bruins out to an early advantage. She hit three triples in a row at one point.
