Alyssa Rodriguez 2023 – Palmer – 42 points, 14 3s, 5 assists vs. Gateway
It was raining 3s in Palmer’s game against Gateway. Rodriguez had several huge games last week but her best performance included 14 3s and 42 total points. She hit 8 3s in a game earlier in the week and then followed it up with this incredible performance. She also had 5 assists, which means she accounted for 50+ points for the Terrors!
Kendra Ritzmann Kendra Ritzmann 5'11" | SF Pomona | 2024 State CO 2024 – Pomona – 18 points, 15 rebounds, 5 steals vs. Wheat Ridge
Ritzmann notched an impressive triple-double in the early part of the season. She was all over the glass, which lead to plenty of put backs for easy layups. She also tallied 5 steals that led to easy transition buckets or layups for her teammates. She is an under-the-radar Sophomore but will have many performances like this throughout her career.
Griffin Greenwood Griffin Greenwood 5'11" | PF Lewis-Palmer | 2022 State CO 2022 – Lewis-Palmer – 10 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists vs. Palmer
Greenwood had an impressive triple-double in a win over Palmer. She did everything she could to help her team win. Griffin finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds, which is impressive on its own. She also tallied 10 assists. Having that many assists is impressive in a high school game. Have to give Greenwood credit for finding open teammates and have to give her teammates credit for converting the buckets.
Brooklyn Carbone 2025 – Palmer – 15 points, 10 rebounds vs. Bear Creek
Carbone has quietly been off to a great start to the season and notched her first career double-double in a big win over Bear Creek. She has been a solid rebounder this season but in this game was able to attack the offensive glass and get some put-backs. Carbone is a fundamentally sound Freshman who is going to be a big varsity contributor for Golden over the next four years.
Mikylah Espinosa Mikylah Espinosa 5'8" | PG Skyview | 2022 State CO 2022 – Skyview – 23 points, 10 rebounds, 11 steals, 6 assists vs. Golden
Espinosa had a full stat line in a win over the Demons. She shot 56% from the field including knocking down 2 three pointers. She did work on the offensive and defensive glass, involved her teammates with 6 assists, and frustrated the Demons with 11 steals. It was a complete performance by this talented Senior!
