Taylor Brown (Lift for Life)The 5’7″ 2022 guard scored a game-high 24 points in the Hawks victory over East St. Louis on Saturday night. She displayed her ability to take over a game when she scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to help her team break open a close game. She is very good on the downhill drive and she can also hit the 3-pointer to keep defenders honest.
Chantrel Clayton Chantrel Clayton 5'6" | PG Cardinal Ritter | 2024 State MO (Cardinal Ritter): The 2024 points guard scored a game-high 20 points in the Lions’ victory over STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley. She has outstanding quickness and the ability to score at all three levels. She made three 3-pointers while also creating her own offense off the dribble with penetrating drives and pull up jumpers.
Mariah Maxie (Cardinal Ritter): The 2022 guard had a big game on Friday night in the Lions’ 58-43 victory over Kansas City Lincoln Prep. She scored a game-high 23 points, which included a three of four performance from 3-point range. She also handed out four assists while also playing her excellent sit-down, on-ball defense, which she does so well.
Shakara McCline (East St. Louis, IL): The 2023 guard is one of the top players in the metro east side of the St. Louis area. She scored 20 points against Lift for Life on Saturday. She has good speed and quickness in the open court and is a very good slashing threat to score in the lane.
Safiyah Reed Safiyah Reed 5'4" | PG STEAM Academy At McCluer South-Berkeley | 2022 State MO (STEAM Academy): A 2022 point guard who had a solid all-around game against Cardinal Ritter on the first night of the event. She had 13 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals. She is quick off the dribble with the ability to change speeds and directions very effectively.
