Rakiyah Beal Rakiyah Beal 5'11" | SF Hamtramck | 2022 State #69 Nation MI (2022, SF, Hamtramck)
Beal is showing off her game this season and last night was no different. She was key in her team’s hard fought win. Beal had 26 points, 8 renounds, and 8 assists.
Kennedy Blair Kennedy Blair 5'9" | SG Dearborn Divine Child | 2023 State MI (2023, G, Divine Child)
Blair led her team to a tough win over Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard. She finished with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 steals. Apparently I should have her name on auto fill this season, because Blair is putting up numbers every single game.
Ashley Bower Ashley Bower SG Portland | 2022 State MI (2022, SG, Portland)
Bower helped Portland pick up an impressive win against East Lansing. She continued her historic senior season by leading her team with 20 points.
Kynnedy Brown Kynnedy Brown SF Kalamazoo Central | 2023 State MI (2023, SF, Kalamazoo Central)
Brown was a beast on both ends of the floor in her teams impressive victory. She finished the game with 20 points.
Brooke Daniels Brooke Daniels PG Macomb L'Anse Creuse | 2022 State MI (2022, L’Anse Creuse North)
Daniels led her squad to a 54-31 win over Stevenson. The playmaker picked up a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. She wasn’t done there though, as she also contributed 6 assists and 3 steals.
Megan Leslie Megan Leslie SG Greenville | 2023 State MI (2023, SG, Greenville)
Leslie’s team was defeated in a tough matchup with Forest Hills Central, but she definitely left her mark on the game. Leslie shot her way to an impressive 23 points.
Ryann Locke Ryann Locke PG Springport | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, Springport)
Lock had an enormous game in a win over Pennfield. She dropped in 25 points while adding 13 rebounds, 9 assists, 8 steals, and 2 blocks.
Lydia Meredith Lydia Meredith 5'7" | PG St. Patrick's | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, St. Patrick’s)
Talk about getting the job done on both ends of the floor, Meredith is and has been doing it. Last night she snagged her 400th career steal, putting her in elite defensive company.
Ava Perry Ava Perry 5'5" | PG Ann Arbor Skyline | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, Ann Arbor Skyline)
The talent has always been there, but Perry is really putting it together this year. She had 22 points last night in a loss to Bedford. Perry is excelling under Coach Sims and is definitely a prospect on the rise.
Deyonce Thompson Deyonce Thompson SG East Kentwood | 2022 State MI (2022, SG, East Kentwood)
Thompson was all over the court in her team’s 55-51 win against Caledonia. She earned a double-double by scoring 16 points and snagging 14 rebounds. Thompson also added 5 assists.
Caitlyn Walter Caitlyn Walter 5'6" | PG Ovid-Elsie | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, Ovid-Elsie)
Walter is making the most of her senior season. After last nights win, she has her team off to a 10-0 season. Walter dropped in 21 points in yesterday’s win.
Madisen Wardell Madisen Wardell 6'0" | PF Detroit Edison | 2022 State MI (2022, F, Detroit Edison)
Wardell is one of the most versatile players in the midwest and showed it once again last night. She scored 21 points, grabbed 8 boards, had 3 steals, and dished off 2 assists.
Allie Zajac (2025, F, Tecumseh)
The elite freshman was at it again last night in her team’s 61-27 victory over Jackson. Zajac led the way with 20 point and 14 rebound double-double.
