#7 Seed; Bishop Montgomery Features the Following Players:
Chloe Williams Chloe Williams 6'2" | PF St. Marys Academy (Los Angeles) | 2022 State CA is a dynamic forward/post type that has a nice feel for the game. We first saw Chloe in a Semi-Final game last season versus Oxford Academy and she was phenomenal, but they could not capture the win in that game. She has major post presence in the paint, she can use her left or right hand to finish, has a decent midrange shot and is capable of bringing the ball down the floor and getting it to the guard. We like her agility, she runs the floor like a gazelle and is probably one of the most athletic bigs in her class.
#8 Seed; Windward Features the Following Players:
Samari Bankhead – has a versatile skill-set for her size. She’s a natural forward with some guard like abilities. She’s very comfortable handling the ball and attacking the rim. Finishes strong at the rim. She can handle the ball well on the break. Early in the game I saw, she wasn’t making the best reads with the ball in her hands, but as the game went on she started making better passes and decisions off the dribble. She sets good, hard screens. Has tools to be a good defender.
Skye Belker Skye Belker 5'8" | SG Windward HS | 2023 State CA – Belker is solid wing player with a versatile offensive skill-set. She’s a good ball-handler and comfortable making moves off the dribble. She can pull-up and shoot and she can get all the way to the rim as well. Good shooter from three point range especially in catch and shoot situations. She has a little playmaking to her game as well. She can draw the defense and get some easy shot opportunities for her teammates.
Maya Stokes Maya Stokes 5'9" | SG Windward | 2022 State CA – Maya was fantastic to watch, she put on a show for us and it was one to see, she is gonna do some great things at the next level. She pushed the ball down the floor after a rebound and got it into the lane and either made a play or got a dime to a teammate. She had 25+ points in this game and she did with ease, she could score from all three levels, but her specialty was scoring at the rim through contact.
