Top-seeded Farmington defeated West County in the first game and North County defeated Park Hills Central in the night cap. Here is a look at the top forwards from the semifinal games.
Kamryn Winch Kamryn Winch 6'3" | C North County | 2022 State MO (North County): The 6’3 2022 Maryville U. recruit scored six points in the semifinals as she had plenty of company inside with double and triple teams. She passed the ball well to find open teammates and she grabbed a bunch of rebounds.
Emma Gaugel (North County): The 5’10” 2022 forward scored a game-high 15 points in the Raiders’ victory over Park Hills Central. She’s an active athlete who was attacking the basket and scoring through contact. She had an impressive spin move in the lane.
Angelia Davis (Farmington): The 5’10 2023 forward scored eight points in the victory over West County. She has a nice shooting touch from the high post and she can drive it as well.
Bailey Skiles (West County): The 2023 forward scored 11 points in the semifinals against Farmington. She was in attack mode from the opening tip as she lived at the free throw line. She also delivered some nice interior passes through traffic.
Hannah Politte (North County): A 6’0” 2022 forward who had seven points in the semifinals win over Park Hills Central. She is mobile and can handle the ball. She also hit several key free throws late in the game.
