Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the other players in the GRC and other NWMO standouts who have enjoyed excellent seasons while operating under the radar. These small-school standouts are getting their postseason started this weekend and into the week. An assist goes out to the website, GRC.com, who provides tremendous coverage on the athletes in this league.
Webby Bailey Webby Bailey 5'7" | CG Pattonsburg | 2022 State MO (Pattonsburg): The 5’9″ 2022 guard is finishing her stellar career in a big way as she became the school’s all-time leading scorer while surpassing the 2,000-point plateau in the process. She is averaging 21 points a game in leading Pattonsburg to a 17-8 record heading into postseason play.
Chloe Burnham (St. Joseph Christian): A 2024 guard is one of the top young players in the region. She is currently averaging 19 points a game in leading her team to a 19-6 record and a No. 1 seed in the upcoming Class 1, District 15 tournament.
Lexi Craig (Stanberry): A versatile 6’0″ 2022 forward who is just as comfortable on the perimeter as she is inside the lane. She has length to block shots inside and she can step outside and make 3-pointers. She can also grab a rebound and go coast to coast with the ball in transition. She is averaging 18 points a game in leading the Bulldogs to an 18-6 record.
Abbe Henke (Princeton): A talented 2025 guard who has made a huge impact in her first year of high school ball. She is aggressive when she attacks the basket and she can also pull up and hit the 3-pointer. She is also an excellent rebounder. She is averaging close to 20 points a game in what has been an impressive debut campaign.
Mary Copeland (Polo): A 5’11” 2022 forward who is an impressive player inside as a scorer and rebounder. She moves well around the lane and she can also run the floor. She averaged 15 points a game in leading Polo to a 15-6 record during the regular season.
Hannah Carter (South Harrison): A 2024 forward who is following in the footsteps of her mother, Julie, who was also a standout player. She has already matched her mother’s career high of 40 points in a game earlier this season. She is a strong inside player who works the offensive boards very well. She averaged 16.5 points a game during the regular season
