Most Valuable Player
Reese Schaaf (El Dorado Springs): The 5’11” 2022 Drury recruit was tremendous in leading the Lady Bulldogs to the state championship. She averaged 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game as she excelled in all facets of the game. She had 19 points and 17 rebounds in the victory over Strafford in the semifinals.
All-Tournament First Team
Miranda Patterson Miranda Patterson 5'7" | CG South Shelby | 2023 State MO (South Shelby): The 2022 point guard had a nice weekend in leading the Lady Cardinals to a runner-up finish. She averaged 15.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting the 3-pointer very well. She had 20 points, seven rebounds and knocked down four 3-pointers in the semifinals against West County.
Laney Humble Laney Humble 5'5" | CG Strafford | 2023 State MO (Strafford): The 2023 guard led Strafford to a third-place finish as she averaged a team-high 18.5 points, three rebounds and three assists in the two Final Four games.
Macie Mays Macie Mays 5'9" | CG El Dorado Springs | 2023 State MO (El Dorado Springs): The 2023 guard averaged 15 points, four rebounds and 3.5 assists over the weekend as she played a big part in helping El Dorado Springs to the state championship.
Mattie Walker (Strafford): The 5’10” 2023 forward was solid inside for the third-place Lady Indians. She averaged 11 points a game while doing an excellent job inside over the weekend.
Lilian James (West County): The 2023 guard was a very effective perimeter shooter throughout the weekend as she averaged nine points a game. She made a total of six 3-pointers while shooting a toasty 60 percent from long distance in the two games.
