Co-Most Valuable Players
Saniah Tyler Saniah Tyler 5'7" | PG Incarnate Word Academy | 2022 State #43 Nation MO (Incarnate Word Academy): The 5’6 2022 point guard averaged 17.5 points in the Final Four to lead the Red Knights to the state championship. The Kentucky recruit scored a game-high 24 points in the victory over Kickapoo in the state championship game.
Bella Fontleroy (Kickapoo): The 6’2″ 2022 Baylor recruit averaged 24.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in the Final Four to lead the Lady Chiefs to a runner-up finish. She had 24 points, 13 rebounds and made a pair of 3-pointers in the semifinals against Blue Springs South, then came back with 25 points and 10 rebounds in the championship game against Incarnate Word.
All-Tournament First Team
Natalie Potts Natalie Potts 6'2" | PF Incarnate Word | 2023 State MO (Incarnate Word): The 6’2″ 2023 forward had an excellent overall Final Four for the state champions as she averaged 12 points, five rebounds, 3.5 assists and 6.5 steals during the weekend. She had a tournament-high nine steals in the semifinals against St. Joseph’s.
Jaidynn Mason Jaidynn Mason 5'5" | PG Blue Springs South | 2022 State MO (Blue Springs South): The 2022 guard had a big weekend as she led the Jaguars to a third-place finish. She averaged 19 points, three rebounds and three steals in the two Final Four games.
Brooke Coffey Brooke Coffey 6'0" | SF Incarnate Word Academy | 2023 State MO (Incarnate Word): The 6’1″ 2023 forward averaged 10.5 points in helping the Red Knights to the state championship. She had 13 points, eight rebounds and five steals in the victory over Kickapoo in the state championship game.
Kaya Johnson (Kickapoo): The 5’7″ 2024 had a big performance in the Lady Chiefs victory over Blue Springs South in the semifinals with 14 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
