Ky G Ky G CG FL (pictured in the middle) was really good at the showcase on both ends of the court. She knocked down a few long-range jumpers and also got downhill to the basket. She was also a tough defender and played a really good man-to-man defense.
Esa Brennaman (pictured on left) has “future star” written all over her. She is one of the most athletic players I’ve seen at the middle school level. She has serious explosiveness to her jump. Brennaman also has the game to go along with the athleticism. She can shoot the ball at all levels on the court: she can get to the goal going left and right, she has a nice float game, and she can shoot the three-ball. Brennaman is also a playmaker who can penetrate and dish to the open man. She showed great court vision and is a very good passer.
Imani Henderson F played well on the inside and was really good on defense, recording several blocked shots in the paint.
Elle Deegan G was another young player who drew a lot of praise in the showcase. The lefty does a good job of getting to her spots on the court for her shot. She has good dribbling skills, but her main skill set was putting the ball in the basket at all levels on the court.
Adriah Mossiah has a game that looks like a high school player already. She can get to the basket using her left hand or right hand. She has a smooth left-handed jump shot and can shoot from anywhere on the court. Her court vision was exceptional and she was making great passes for the entire game. Her skill was impressive. She looks like a high school player already and also wears the label of a future star.
Gianna Conklin-Jones had a nice skillset for someone her age. She showed some advanced euro step moves to the basket and handled the ball very well. Conklin-Jones also was a very good on-ball defender and made it a challenge to bring the ball up the court.
Eryn Moffitt played well at the showcase. She was very strong in the paint and rebounded well on the offensive and defensive sides of the court.
Kennedi Tatum played well on defense and did a good job of pushing the ball up the floor on fast breaks.
